Triplicate Spirits truly is so powerful and back-breaking, it's like a rare that you get multiples of. I can't see a single card here I'd rather of it.

Spirits is the clear winner, but Jalira is actually pretty good on defense when you are behind. You can trade blocks or even chump and get an upgrade or at least another body.

Sucks that raise the alarm is in the same pack.

Good thing there isn't a bomb or a good uncommon in this pack. However, that means our guy to the left will take the Raise the Alarm and probably end up trying to cut us out of white on the next pack. We may have to take some mediocre playable white cards to force that guy OUT of white. Strong messages might be important pack one, depending on what the next couple of packs look like.

Trip Spirits is the only way to go.

This pack is going to suck on the way back.

Guys, what are you talking about? Second pick Raise the Alarm wont lock anyone in White unless that same person got a White bomb p1p1. Pick trip spirits and be happy about it.

It won't lock them in, but it's a good incentive for them to start looking to white since it's the only other good card in the pack. I'm happy to draft Trip Spirits, I'm just thinking out loud about the future possibility of having to push the person to our left out of white.

And the only white card left, so our neighbor may take to cut white completely. But never mind, it's the guy passing to us we need to synch with.

And the pick is obvious.

The fact that a common is missing from this pack (especially with two strong blue cards and a Silverback) doesn't bode well for us.

Player to right could have take lightning strike. Probably not elvish mystic or black removal over sliverback. I like tern with spirits but probably this early we take silverback.

Or trip spirits :V

But yeah, Silverback is the best card in the pack.

Player to the right also might have taken a foil rare, since they eat the common slot. I lean towards cathar to cut white hard, but silverback is no slouch.

Fel...spirits was implied. I was listing all the non spirits possible.

This one is interesting.

I've been quite disappointed with the Silverback so far. It looks good, but somehow it doesn't do much. The question is, do we want to fight for white? We already passed a Raise the Alarm in an otherwise empty pack, we will pass a white card here. With both our neighbors in white, life will be hard for us. On the other hand, three white commons left may mean the guy to our left didn't pick the Spirits - four white commons seem too much if these packs follow the print runs.

So, I would like to try for white, since both of these packs were quite empty out of white. This means we must take a white card. Triplicate says convoke, so we need the one-drop that can boost our army.

Selfless Cathar
