Being results-oriented isn't a solid foundation. 3-color is inherently stronger when you hit your mana, obviously. I've seen plenty of horrible-looking decks do extremely well when they hit their mana on-curve. That doesn't make them solid decks by any means.

While this is true, it's still a fact that I've won with 3 colored decks and never won with 2 colored decks.
This could just be that I absolutely suck at drafting 2 colors, but still.
For me personally, drafting 3 colors seems to be the better decision.

Is that normally 2 main colors with a splash, or 1 color with 2 splashes? Or three (more or less) equal colors?
I'm just wondering, I've not found enough time to do another draft, but, I see there are some pretty strong viewpoints on this.

depends on what comes around

without two drops one risks being over run before developing
two drops should never be counted in splashed colors

It was 3 more or less equal colors.

haven't ever drafted 3 colours myself but I've seen 3 colour decks work, mostly where it's mostly 2 with a very minor splash for the 3rd
