I think the best common creature is the Ondu War Cleric. That thing is unreal. And both common four-drop removals are better than all creatures, IMO. Simply because both of those critters require the right deck to reach full potential, where they are better than the removal spells. But if you don't get there, colors/low drops being cut, removal will do more for you.

Lagac is extremely sweet, but I fear the days when I had three in my deck are over.

Just drafted 5-color control and oh does it feel sweet. Not sure if it's good yet. Will report.
