Agent of the Fates that card seems hella cool and I love it. Nothing else in the pack feels like it does enough

I dunno. Maybe I should start posting crack-a-packs since I'm the proud owner of like a dozen pyxis of pandemoniums or whatever they're called. Magic hates me, I think.

I note that this pack sans rare is actually quite the difficult P1P2. All 3 expensive removal spells (B/R/W)

I guess take the instant, Divine Verdict, but obviously we will color match based on P1P1

You could always mix things up by removing the first pick of the next pack (assuming the first pick is obvious, if it isn't, then just post the whole pack) and assume that we're P1P2, following agent of the fates as our first pick.

For instance, assuming this is P1P2 (minus the agent of the fates), and assuming our last pick (ember swallower), I think it's a pretty interesting choice between Rage of Purphoros as an on-color removal, or divine verdict as an off color, cheaper removal that can kill anything (assuming they attack or block), rather than being limited to 4 toughness stuff.

I think I'd go with the on color removal.

I like the idea of going back. After pack 8, let's go back to pack #1, but take out the most popular pick.

As for this pack, I can't pass the Agent, but there's a lot of good removal. I wouldn't poo-poo the high cmc because almost all the non-red removal in this set is expensive.
