Spinning Clock by RavenoftheBlackStatus: Public
Past and present, future spins,
Last and first, ticking clock,
Today, tomorrow, ends, begins,
Away or to, run or walk.
Attack the time, carefully,
Back and forward, always moves,
Knight and soldier, they and we,
Light and darkness, feet and hooves.
Mine once, now only lost,
Shines brilliantly, prizes,
Pay increasing, more cost,
Day and night through disguises.
Thieves and bandits raise expense,
Sleeves are deceitful and deep,
More or less, off counting hence,
Store minding, apprentice cheap.
Greater yet and, lost too much,
Craters filled and craters made
We but ventured, burned and touched,
Me and you, prices paid.
