OOC thread for 'The Fall of Amarath' campaign. The Set-Up thread can be found here and the In-Character thread can be found here.

Players feel free to jump in here, confirm your ready to go and pick a colour for in-character dialogue. I'll be using this red for DM stuff but other then that anything should be fine.

I will take this lustful and tricksy Purple

I will be walking through the marketplace, browsing, talking and walking with Indrick, my master smith, picking up items he is interested in and looking for the various fineries I have become accustomed to.

I am not in my normal armour, but am instead in a set of fine silk robes, adorned with gaudy ostentatious baubles accumulated as gifts on my travels. The symbol of Iomedae is worked into the fabric in several places.

A series of squires carrying my equipment and other hangers-on circulate behind me, picking up armour polish, or food, or whatever it is the peasantry do to amuse themselves. One particular overworked attendant is holding a large umbrella above me as I walk to keep the rain from damaging my expensive clothing, Indrick seems not to mind and the water gently steams off him. Several carts decorated with my iconography (the symbol of Iomedae with flames added along the sword with haloed griffons rampant at each side) are at the edge of the square, with their attendants handling picking up supplies.

Okay first in-character post is up. Feel free to throw yourselves at the market doing whatever you feel is right. If anyone needs an objective feel free to give me a shout and I'll throw you one. Otherwise make yourselves busy.

Alrighty, will have a post up after I get something done in two other games that are currently waiting on me.

Just walked in the door from work and glad to be out of the rain.

Just a reminder I have my character in my signature... Gathering a good adventuring posse among them. Also will be using this as my color. Shouldn't clash with Monster-Robot's choice. Looking forward to this...

Edit: Also it alright for me to swap out my cold-weather outfit for a hot-weather outfit? Given the time of year and weather...

Double Edit: Stat block.

Of course. I've no issue with that.

I see purple is already taken.

How about this brownish gold shade then?

@Zinger - brownish gold is fine for me - though you may want to get confirmation from someone using the papyrus theme as that could prove problematic.

@Squinty: How about we start with this, what would have brought your character to Amarath? A stop along a road to another destination perhaps? If so you would be needing supplies. Or is it that you were offered an oppertunity here?

Well in the long term the Golden Way serves not only as a source of trade goods but as the hub of a information network stretching for miles in all directions. For someone attempting to establish themselves in a position of power within the city it never hurts to see what information you can pull about local affairs and persons of interest.

On your more immediate goal The Dragon's Tongue has a reputation for serving decent, inexpensive ales that are only occasionally watered-down. Beats standing in the rain and getting wet at any rate.

I'd prefer putting them in an IC post with a spoiler tag just so I can tell at a glance what the rolls are related too.

Firstly. A new IC post is up, sorry if I'm writing novels. :shifty:

Secondly, Shockwave, I notice you suddenly roll in the double digits.
