Thanks will do. In the meantime, for roleplaying purposes, I think we should pick a point on the map that we traveled from so we can get an idea on how familiar some of our PCs will be with each other. My current headcannon is that Du'Tok is one of the last to be added to our group, but we can work that out as we go. I'm picking Harrowdale as the place my character left the tribe he grew up to begin this adventure. |

Just to specify a little better. The city is located at the west side of Ossraun Mountains, closest big city is Nathlekh, which is 200 miles from the Girdlestone town. There are other small towns nearby, all of them unmapped. |

Oops... Need to differentiate between Deva's... (rstnme as a Deva Invoker and Neosilk as a Deva Warden.) But worked even though I was trying to point out that Neosilk was the one without a adventure's kit. And more specificly the one without rations... |

When I wrote this, NeoSilk wrote: And - in before the buzzer! Du'tok Seems like a dark green to me....unless someone has this already? I'm still working on background, but I've got that in mind already, so it shouldn't take long. I'm also going to do a bit more shopping, basic stuff, just got the weapon/armor going for now. It was intended to mean that I was going to get some basic stuff (like the pack). I'd like to add just that in (the adventures kit) and I'll pass on anything else. That work? |

*Does some distance estimates and consults the PHB for travel speed.* I see what your saying True Believer. Even if I start from Westgate that adds about another couple of weeks to the travel. Think I'll start from there instead and have Harrowdale as one of the first cities my character remembers seeing. @Neosilk: That's up to the mod, but being that we're entering the Girdlestone a quick meal and trip to any local services should remedy any problems. I say play it out. We shouldn't be like demigods (in the Greek myth sense), and flaws help flesh out our characters. |

How did we meet each other? It just happened that we were walking in the same road and started talking and hanging out like nobody's business, or we met one by one? If the latter is the case, whom were the firsts in the party, and how the others came around? |

You can have it and then set your rations to zero. felbatista wrote: How did we meet each other? Yes, it just happened that you were walking in the same road and started talking and hanging out like nobody's business. The rest is for you and your companions to decide. |

You can RP as much as you want until Wednesday, then I will move the story forward automatically, unless you want to move sooner. |

I guess now would be the time to ask, how do you want to handle skill checks for certain situations? Do rolls for skills such as Acrobatics or Diplomacy in thread or here? |

Favor: can you guys post your characters in your posts or your sigs? It'll help me keep who is what is what straight @TB is this a low-magic world, without much planar travel? I guess I assumed the PHB races were common enough to be recognized. |

Shockwave07 wrote: I guess now would be the time to ask, how do you want to handle skill checks for certain situations? Do rolls for skills such as Acrobatics or Diplomacy in thread or here? I prefer IC under a spoiler bar. But you don't need to make any roll now. This is just to set the adventure tone. rstnme wrote: Favor: can you guys post your characters in your posts or your sigs? Devas are very rare, one Deva can live an entire life without meeting another. The same is applied to humans, specially at small towns. IMO there is no way so many races can coexist peacefully, so the rarer your race is the bigger your chance to find racism, specially at small towns. As I said to Shockwave, this is just to set the adventure tone. |

Sorry, Mondays are my busiest days. Does us not having to roll a skill check mean I should not roll Diplomancy? |

Nice to have. Also can't help but notice that the world map looks somewhat familiar... |

So - which side of the town are we coming in from? Inn/Tavern or store side? |

NeoSilk wrote: So - which side of the town are we coming in from? Inn/Tavern or store side? West side (inn/tavern side). Each square is equivalent more or less to 60 ft. Im at work, so I cannot update now. Shockwave07 wrote: Nice to have. Also can't help but notice that the world map looks somewhat familiar... It is the standard map of Faerun, the same used in all published adventures. And thanks. |
