I'd really appreciate if you want to give me some feedback (in PMs or the ooc thread) whenever I screw up (or do something amazing?), although I might be inclined to argue. everything you do is wrongis this what helping feels like? it feels good. |

I'm going to have some posts, like the latest, where I will assume you consent to an implied action unless stated otherwise within like a day or so. I don't want to take agency over your characters, but waiting for everyone to post "I agree" for minor things is going to take too long, so I'm just leaving a little window if you want to be contrarian. Also, raz, I revisited how I'm treating your ability. Lower quality results just gives the thoughts as if you read them from a .txt file, while higher scores will have some vivid imagery attached to it. Which probably won't make any real sense, so it's just an outlet for me to write weird things, but it's not completely arbitrary. More efficient results can help determine how much information you get from the target before they notice you are doing something weird, if they normally would. |

So, how do the rolls work? I want to summon some insects, talk to them and ask them to explore the house and report back to me. What would I need to do for that? ~SE++ |

I don't think I can explain it better than I already have. All your rolls are stat + skill (+ echo). So if you want to talk to insects (whether or not you can actually summon them isn't really all that interesting, so I'll just let that pass, unless you want to drown the entire building in spiders), that is: Face + Warped Tongue, or 4 + 0. If you want to argue that one of your echo's apply, then you can slap them on there as well. Example roll Mown rolled 4d10 and got a total of 22: Now, because your skill is 2×Awesome, you can change the face of any one dice in the result. If you swap the 3 into a 10, then you get a 2×10. Which means you achieve what you want perfectly, but you don't do it particularly quickly. You're not really stressed for time though, so the width isn't all that important. |

Yeah, I know. The request kind of threw me a curveball, since there's a lot of questions about specific things I don't necessarily want or even have a complete answer for (but I don't want to sweep them under the rug either), and I'm also struggling a bit to form it into a narrative. I'm also just playing too much Hearthstone. |

Sorry, sorry, been out of town and very drunk. Today was my zombie day after four days of non-stop parties. I will try and have a response up as soon as possible, but I'm catching up on all my own threads as well. ~SE++ |

Technically speaking, I believe it's a burst around your target, since your range is pretty immense. 1.5 miles, in fact. |
