Or something.

Last year someone posted some kind-a gift a DM gave his players. Anyone get any in-game gifts this year?

Not yet here, but in a way I gave one...

Rolled a second Nat 1 in an encounter. Rstnme's reaction. Check out the OoC thread for the Talcar Campaign to see it.

Basically Avandra pops halfling heads like Pez addicts. Sveet.

For those of you wondering what I'm doing in the dice rolling thread, rolling characters for some friends in real life, plus sister. Insane madness.

Basic D&D for those who are wondering.

"When I perfect my live harvest techniques, I intend to find out just how succulent and tasty I am." ~ in-character dialogue from my current campaign.

I'm still undecided about which of our characters is the less disturbing...

So, whats new in here? Been a while since I've popped in, and I'm hoping for some good stories.

Currently in 3 games here in NGA:

In Talcar (D&D 4e), I'm playing a druid that likes to wild shape into unusual animals (a pug, most of the time), and we just slept with the orcs we were supposed to kill.

In LMoP (D&D 5e), I'm playing a drunken monk and we just recriated the final scene of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

In White Autumn, Red Spring (D&D 5e), I'm playing a scientist sorcerer that uses a pistol to cast spells, and we're visiting the least welcoming city in the country.

Also, I'm DM'ing for my first time ever in RL (D&D 5e, LMoP). It has been a ton of fun.

We miss you Squinty. Any plans of going back to business around here?

Err phrasing? You couldn't possibly have made that sound worst then you just did.

Not really planning on playing right now, though I was going to redesign my world in the wiki. Currently I'm DM-ing a live game for some buddies every other Friday, though we just started recently, so not much to tell there. But redesigning my world means I gotta go harass someone who can delete the majority of my wiki pages so I can start in on it fresh....

Stole a shopping list in Crystalshore.
Talked tattoos, nearly got ripped apart by an ogre, then watched its head get seared off on the road to the Undermarch.
Had a hangover in Talcar along with the above with Rstnme and Felbatista.

And that's just here...

Also looking forward to seeing what you come up with Squinty.

I am really liking a lot my adventure, although it is only me and shockwave.

It seems people don't like or don't know 13th age. And when I read the manual it was instant love, because many of the authors ideas were exactly my ideas.

It is sad, but not the end of the world (or gaming). I think all my games may have died too, but I don't care.

It is just part of life (or gaming). You acknowledge your defeat and move on for other try...
