During the surprise round, can I run past enemies without taking attacks of opportunity?

Enemies can't take any actions during a surprise round - including reactions. So yeah you can go over and dance on their heads if you want.

Oh yeah. I'm going to bed now on account of not sleeping properly for like three days. After Booker's turn it will be the enemies but surprise round and all so they don't get to do jack.

What I'm saying is once Booker has done his bit everyone feel free to take their actions. You can use the tracker in the map to check if you hit and if the guy you hit is dead. I've checked the maths and everything should be working out fine.

Only remember you all get Advantage on your first attack since the one thing you can do is sneak really really well.

Garren, I swear to God I'm not meta-gaming this. Booker doesn't want to be out in the middle of the action. He knows the goblins were too far away to make it back to cover. He definitely doesn't want to go toe-to-toe with Klarg. The wolf was the obvious choice.

I definitively don't want to roll saving throws for monsters.

From now on, I will let Garren throw them unless I can use an inverted saving throw.

I figure since he's got elevation on his target, Argun should have no trouble shooting past Klarg.

You know it's kinda annoying that advantage means basically nothing on spells requiring a save to deal damage. Feels like you got the short end of the stick there.


If it helps the goblin most likely is going to leg it. I mean there's being intimidated by a bugbear and then there's having couple of feet of pointed shaft sticking out of your chest. I know I'd bolt.

Garren, they take half damage from the burning hands spell on a save.

Added Whip damage to goblin but not sure what fire will be.

Now all they have to deal with is a slightly singed bugbear.
