Well we will have to wait until tomorrow for the exciting conclusion. It's gone 07:30 over here and I should probably sleep at some point. G'night all!

Looking forward to what you're going to bring to the game Zinger.
@Bounty Hunter: Wondering if our characters should know each other? Not saying we should be really familiar with each other, but rather our characters have crossed paths enough times to where they at least know each other's names?
Or could build a bit of a backstory between them if your interested.

Could be doable, I need to read up on a few of the characters. I know next to nothing about your character and about Zingers for example.
I'm flexible though, and still fleshing out my character as well.

Okay, well that doesn't much answer my question.
I think it is better if we do know each other, or have had brief dealings with each other in the past.
You know next to nothing about my character.. well I'm a wizard obsessed with immortality and time travel. I have a half-elf companion. I am human but I've stretched my life far beyond natural means. i'm over a hundred years old. Physically I look about 60. I'm a bit of a recluse. But I know everything about everything.
And I can see the future.
So I am thinking I'm high-tailing it out of this town already because I've seen what's coming... sounds right. I will work out my IC post soonish.
Hmm, not sure how I'd know any of you really am I'm totally new to Amarath.
I have been travelling town to town over several years, spending a few months in each, So it's conceivable you may have encountered me then. but I doubt I would remember you.

Good question.
I think my character, Valenthal Stalwart, knowing his won't be much of a stretch since my character would seek out training somewhere within the city to refine his own inherited powers. How well we know each other is a question, but can roleplay that out.
I don't think it would be unreasonable for my character as a deal maker to have interacted with Jastor, perhaps even assisted in something that happened in the undercity.
As far as how Kronos knows the Fetchling Garnet and the pretending to be a Paladin Antipaladin, I think that would be hard to figure out or make a story for, at least in my opinion. It is well implied they're not from here, but can maybe work in some introductions here soon.
I can add some background on Vigo's history here if it will help (I apologise in advance if my grammar ends up terrible, stream of conciousness typing inbound).
His earliest memories are of himself and his mentor Cralis, an elven cleric of calistria, who tells him that he saved him from the bandits that killed his parents, for many years he took care of Vigo, instructing him in the ways of his god, and travelling from town to town. Early on, the boy would be left with the town as Cralis went to fight some evil or another for the townsfolk, who were always appreciative and showered the cleric and his adoptive child with gifts.
As Vigo grew older, Cralis explained his ways in greater detail to the youth, he explained that whilst cutting down a tree would certainly be a bountiful harvest once, that there were only so many trees, better to convince the trees to give you their fruit willingly, then leave for a time to allow it to regrow.
Vigo became part of many of the clerics "performances" and eventually, Cralis introduced him to one of his acquaintances, a demon by the name of Ix, Ix had worked with Cralis for many years, helping him milk the towns for all they were worth before moving on. "The fear of attack, you must understand, is as nothing compared to the terror we can replace it with, this, is the terror that we will leave, and their bad fortune will return, so we ensure that it will." explained Cralis "While we are here, attacks are repelled, wounds are healed, and the people live in security, and we are rewarded as such, after we leave however, all of their ills will return tenfold, and they will beg us to return in kind, and so we ensure we are welcome at each of our temporary homes, this, is the dual nature of Calistria".
Eventually however, his ways caught up with him, whilst staying in a farm on his way between towns, a paladin of Iomedae found them (apparently after pursuing them for many months), He slew Cralis and, taking Vigo to be his captive, brought the boy with him with the intent of finding new guardians for him, Vigo, having been taught well, played to the paladins expectations, and after many days on the road, gained his trust, he offered to cook for the paladin, Vigo however had chosen a good spot for their camp, it lay next to a forest containing several herbs his father had shown him when he was younger, and the young man, claiming to be fetching firewood, gathered several and suceeded in poisoning the paladin. As he watched the life drain from the holy warrior's eye's he heard a noise and turned to find the daemon Ix behind him, in his last hours his father had directed Ix to guard Vigo, and the daemon had been similarly waiting to strike, Ix told Vigo that he was now bound to his soul. the murder of the paladin had cemented the temporary bond his father initially put in place, and that he would help to guide him though his final steps to being his own man with his own powers.
Taking the paladin's equipment and horse, Vigo, under Ix's advice sought out a tiefling smith his father had been previously acquainted with, and had the armour fitted to him. The smith, Indrick, whether through some sort of morbid curiosity or unspoken debt to his father, offered to serve Vigo as his personal smith and advisor. The three proved to be an excellent team, and Vigo abused his obvious celestial heritage (and the prejudices people accorded it)to the hilt, fully living up to his father's directive to "you must hide, but hide in plain sight, and to divert them, help them with their search and use it to their own ends"
Over the course of almost 15 years they expanded their operation to a little under 60 separate townships in the north. The scams changed and grew subtly over time, but the end result didn't, and the mortals grew rich and fat, though the wealth rarely stayed for long, as it was mainly spent on extravagant living, or provided as favours and gifts.
Ix himself grew in power over this time also, the various sacrifices and rites causing his shape to warp and shift, taking on many forms as they journeyed, which proved to be advantageous, as on return visits, there was always a new threat to be fought. And in return, the demon trained and shaped the young man, honing his combat skills and inducting him into the terrible powers of the abyss, until he had become a true champion of chaos.
They left behind them a trail of plague and sickness and the monsters that they supposedly wiped out, always returned (since usually they just bribed them to stop attacking for a couple of months), and a series of bastard children, quite likely grown up by now to be hunting down their father, along with the more savvy members of the communities "graced" by their presence (Though they were always careful to try and make sure these individuals were amongst the "sad losses to the vile demon"). Almost every departure from a town was preceded by a farewell party, in which Vigo would give out gifts to the populace, and heal the injured (applying toxins and plagues with long onsets as appropriate, and Indrick was certainly ingenious with those time delayed poison capsules to be left in wells). And they were always followed by the duped, or the curious, or those he employed to help with information gathering and ensuring his name was well known, his entourage grew to even include novitiate clerics of Iomedae, along with a number impressionable youths to squire for him and perform other menial tasks.
Deciding to step up the scale of his game from the suckering of rural villagers, to the richer townships, Vigo decided on Amarath, having not heard word of the paladonic purges in the south, it looked like a typical mercantile city, and surely, those with heavier fruit, will be lower hanging, although that hasn't seemed to be the case so far..

Yeah she's in dim lighting. The Dragon wasn't particular well-lit in the first place and the rush of people and appearance of this cloud of darkness hasn't really improved matters.

Okay, and is anyone close to her right now? I know a few people have entered the Inn, and I don't really know exactly how far she was sitting from the door.

Depends on your definition of close. None of them are directily on-top pf you or anything but they could be reached with a move action (call it about 30ft between bar and door).

This next week is going to be ridiculously busy for me (even busier than last week, which was already ridiculously busy), but that should abate come next weekend because school will be all but finished for the most part. I haven't had time to do more than a cursory skim read of the IC thread, so I only barely know what is going on.
So that leaves me with two options: I can jump in now and sort of half-ass it until the weekend as best as I can manage given my time constraints, or you can advance the game without me until the weekend when I can more properly pay attention to it.
Which do you prefer?
If you choose the former I will happily make an introduction post for my character tonight, but then you won't get a whole lot of attention from me throughout the week which may make things harder on you. If you choose the later I will stay out of the IC thread until probably Saturday next.
