Honestly, you were no real delay. You managed to make a post within the first 24 hours. Essentially, that's all I'm asking for. Unless a player specifically says so, I would move everyone together (more or less).

Just so everyone knows: Being an open world sandbox game, the game will move at your rate. If no one decides to move, then you'll all be hanging around The Bridge House until it closes for the night. Though, if 2 days have passed, I'll probably throw a problem in your faces to provoke a response to the world.

You're in luck, in the average city, there are no jails in my world! Trying to keep creatures with massive strength and magical powers tends to not fare well, so the average person will be executed on the spot if they need to be. In rare circumstances, there are "trials," though those are rare if a City Mage is not present to witness the events.

I kind of want Augur to step-in as a mediator and diffuse the situation but I also want to give the rest of the party the chance to play this out. If I don't respond just assume my character is standing to the side awkwardly going "Uhhhhhhhh?"

As a thought, this'd be a great chance for Ulrik to endear himself to the rest of the party.

Few OoC questions:
-What time of day is it roughly ? I always suck at telling how much time has passed IC.
-Is the bartender currently at the bar? And does he look busy?
-If I wanted to see if there was some sort of magic on the note I took, how would one go about doing that in your world?

-And this is a long ways to come yet, but I plan on getting a dog animal companion when the appropriate level, as a heads up. I'll try to figure out the best way to bring it up IC, rather than *ding lvl 4 I has dog nao*

Yeah, it could have. Major Ironsong had a few ideas before deciding he liked you for standing up to impossible odds. Oh well, I figure you guys will have ample time to get to know his capabilities. He did extend an invite to y'all after all.

(1) Just after noon. The sun is high. I should get better at those kinds of descriptions IC. It has been just under an hour since you entered the bar to right now.

(2) Yes, and no. His barmaids take the drinks around, he pretty much fills mugs and talks to patrons at the bar proper.

(3) Find a mage who can cast Detect Magic or Identify. As a fun note: If you play a mage (Wizard, Sorcerer, Magus, Witch or whatever) and don't take Detect Magic, you're gonna be in a lot of trouble IC. Players and NPCs alike will be relying on you to use your talent for survival.

(4) It'll happen easily enough, though your companion may be at the mercy of whatever area you're currently in when you try and establish one. Who knows, perhaps your friendly neighborhood DM will force one upon you at some point before level 4. You know, if you stop pissing off Majors in a city's guard. Heh, and the combat would have been over so quickly....
