It has no eyes that you can discern. I'm going to just say that Sunshine is smart enough to realize that.

Well, I should nuance myself. Sunshine is smart enough to come to that conclusion. But a successful Intelligence (Nature) check would actually *confirm* whether or not the worm actually has tremorsense. In any case, you see no eyes on it.

In the zaniness of a Purple Worm bursting out of the chest of the valley, I neglected to see Deruvid taking "a step back towards Galthir." I've adjusted for that on the map.

Silverghost has some time to spare to get his own initiative roll in there since Aradon chose to roll up a new character.

Check in whenever you can spare a moment, I know in my game its required you put at least one post up every 48 hours which isnt a terribly constrictive rule.

@DM : Which way is the wyrm facing? Or is it more or less flailing about? Also how do Monster Knowledge checks work in DDN ?

It only gives XP if its dead! I'm not sure that me hitting it with a stick will get much done.

Just whenever. Like BH, I would prefer that you be able to make a post at least every 48 hours.

Sort of...I guess...up? It basically looks like a giant, purple, fat flagpole with a mouth instead of a finial at the top. It has a mouth, but it doesn't really have a "face" to face with. There hasn't really been another round with which it would be moving. It's still getting DEX mod to AC, and may or may not be aware of everything anyways. I'm sure it flails around a bit. Not, like, Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tube Man, or anything...but something analogous to "looking around."

Right now they basically don't. The results for any sorts of Monster Knowledge checks aren't in the Bestiary. For The Isle of Dread adventure, they were directly in the module, instead.

it depends on what you want to know, and how much thought it feels like you might need in order to recall the facts you're searching your brain for.

It might be easier to just ask in here first what it is you're trying to accomplish with your skill check before RP-ing it in the IC thread.

I want to know if there are any stories I might have heard, or famous heroes of old who have encountered this monster before, or if there are any tales of creatures that frighten it or are its natural prey. My plan is to use Phantasmal Force to make it believe that its natural predator is also fighting it, hopefully keeping it occupied while we get to keep attacking it.

For something like that, I would let you make the check whenever you wanted in the thread, just so I would be able to have the chance to find/come up with an answer without slowing down your turn. Though, we would play it as though you actually made the check "on your turn." I'd probably have to keep it to one Lore-type check per turn.
