Obligations isnt exactly the correct word for it.

More like... having to do not only more work, but work over again because someone else cant do their job correctly. And now adding most likely two months worth of extra work to be completed on top of my normal daily stuff, on top of promotion study, on top of deployment prep.

*Mutters to self and rolls a few D20s out of despair*

So, BH, what is the deal? You and I seem to be the only ones since monday to have checked into the Sea dragon game. Is it on life support and time to just "pull the plug?". Have I been too inactive over time and so people have given up checking in? What is your view?

Sorry AA. I thought I would have more time to do this, but, I'm starting to think that 2 games is as much as I can handle right now, with other (IRL) things going on. If you want to take Clipper back as an NPC, I'm fine with that.

That's ok, you're being honest about it, and I certainly appreciate it. I don't fault you for choosing the other games since Clipper wasn't your design anyway.

We're looking for a 5th in the tomb of horrors--one more person and we can be hacking and slashing like old school level 8!

Well, if BH is in favor of giving up on the least active game currently ( read as mine! ), then I would have time, else probably not. I'm not abandoning the guys unless they actually give up.

Though as a note the ToH is a 4E game, so you'd be the one having to go get more books. I can always just save Tereks sheet and you can restart a SSDS game when PBP has grown to have more players?

Here's how I feel about it. If Planeshaper comes back, I will continue with using Clipper as an NPC, and Tevish will round out a 4th player.

If Planeshaper is out due to real life demands, I can go two ways. 1. I drop Umiki and the party gets by with Tevish's arcane spells. 2. We drop the adventure.

Either way, I don't feel it's good for the party for me to have 40% of the party as NPC, and Umiki can steal a lot of thunder as an NPC. Clipper was developed years ago as a tank NPC that will perform his role well without stealing the spotlight, so my preference as DM would be to keep Clipper and drop Umiki if I drop a character.

Tevish, Tequila, how do you guys feel?

I know. I now have 4e core books 1, and the PHB 2. I got a great gift card at Christmas and used it to buy used 4e books.

May want to at least repeat this convo in the OoC for the game, not sure if everyone reads the tavern.

I haven't seen Tqeuilasaurus for about a week now. He said he'd be back about now, but... oh well, he still has a spot in my game, I just wrote him out for a bit just in case the players cause trouble, but he can rejoin anytime, really.

Tevish is good people. Though I've never played D&D with him, normally we just try to kill each other in mafia. Haha.

Speaking of which, are you signing up for the new mafia game, BH?

Ahh, shiznit. I am working on the next part of the adventure in earnest, now, and I'm getting VERY excited. I'd want to play this (which is good I suppose since I'm making this up!). This should put all of your character developments to the test. Where is Tequila! C'mon man, wander back so we can get this rolling...

So... no 5th? We might be starting without a 5th come next week, so you have a few days to mull it over.

Admittedly, I'm just jealous from all the roleplaying I'm reading. I haven't RPed with more than 2 players in about 10 years.
