Good news everyone! (The slime pipes are flowing again)

I found that since I posted in a rush from work via phone one time, that when I quoted the old player status it didnt have Jaces regen or temp HP incorporated into it. So he's not at -2...he's at....1!

*Waves DM hand and Jace stands back up*

Also, using the tracker to gain meta knowledge of enemy HP ...tsk tsk tsk ...poor sportsmanship.

One of the reasons I mentioned hesitation in using one. Finally opted to do so since people kept needing my response for action points and such.

I can see why people say they don't liek this fight. We're used to taking on 20 to 40 hp kobolds, and now a 100+ goblin?

Also, I thought you suggested it? Or was it just for hits? Or did I misread something? I wouldn't have done it if I thought it was against the rules; sorry. Usually creature stuff is common knowledge. At least how I used to play. Granted, I used to be the DM, so I might be a bit biased

Its not 'using your resources' , its seeking out meta knowledge *shrug* Same thing as grabbing the module book and going and looking up all the monster stats.

And no, I didnt suggest it, I made the same comment above that if someone was so inclined that they could use it to cheat and figure out monster stats. And that basically the pros of other players being able to know if they had hit and adjust fluff or use action points and such outwieghed anyone who felt the need to game the system. Its just a module after all, so if people wanted the info bad enough they'd have it.

I had forgotten about the regeneration so I honestly acceoted that I was down. Oh man I forgot that I coulda gained 10 hp too.

And thus why I'll never run one. Sandboxes are so much more fun for the DM.

First time DMing and was getting the site PBP up and running. Module was the way to go.

Whenever I've played we always knew how much HP creatures had, or what it took to hit them. I mean I ALWAYS owned a monster manual regardless of hosting or playing. I honestly thought it was just open information. Monster stats I mean.
Adventures, and quests were always unknown though.

I like it all to be unknown. Knowing takes the fun outta it.

Well I was going to allow Altimis the chance to use his racial and force a reroll, but I dont feel like waiting a full 48 hours to get a simple yes or no from him... so I'm just going to roll another roll anyway. And if he survives that...well... the dragonshield will pay him a visit...

So ...without further delay of game... heres a roll in case Altimis chooses to force a reroll.
