Yes, you are free to consider Alois an ally and swap places with him and you will not become grabbed (Alois is not being grabbed either but if he were). But you do not yet have line of effect to Alois. You are in the corner of a hallway and Alois is on the other side of that corner. You could move to gain line of sight (and line of effect), but then you've used your move action. You could do both by giving up your standard action for a second move action.

I'm not hitting that guy anytime soon. Good thing that I decided to heal Zau with Ardent Surge instead of an actual attack. That would've been terrible.

Lendir, don't forget to add your enhancement bonus (+1) and your proficiency bonus with a weapon attack. Not that you would hit with those bonuses this time, but in the future.

No, enhancement is just for attack rolls. Half-level is for all d20 rolls.

Lendir, I noticed your AC is on the light side. You are going to be pretty easy to hit if you choose to wear leather armor instead of the best you can (chainmail). It is, of course, up to you, but just letting you know. You could also pick up feats or something to improve your AC in other ways.

Just a note here :

For attack you rolled 1d20+6
For damage you rolled 1d10+4

Quote:

For your attack you should be rolling 1d20 + 4 [CHA Mod] + 2 [1/2 LVL] + 3 [SWORD PROF] + 1 [ENHANCE]. Thus 1d20+10 not 1d20+6
Damage is 1[W]+CHA so 1d10+ 4[CHA MOD] +1 [ENHANCE]. Thus 1d10+5 not 1d10+4.


I may be messing up the rules for enhancement stuff again cause I havent been in 4e combat in about half a year now ... but yeah... long story short you're definitely short changing yourself on attacks and possibly on damage.
