That kinda sucks since Elgyem is a Nullivore as well. Low maitenance is fine, but it kinda removes some of the roleplay....

Anyone mind terribly if I make a few changes to my character? Background and things will remain the same I'd just like to tinker with the classes and stats a little. I know this game doesn't really need a balanced party but I feel two Researchers will be stepping on each others toes and I'm not exactly married to the class the way I figure Fel is.

Ended up deciding against making changes. We're not using the only other class I would have considered and I'm sure it wont matter that much down the line.

I thought it would be fine to have two researchers because you mentioned wanting to go Engineer and I'm looking to Scientist for my character. I don't think it's going to be a problem.

Yeah that was my thought on it as well. I briefly considered Capture Specialist but figured nah. Researcher into Engineer is the better path I think.

I'm absolutely new at this, so can I get a quick rundown of what I need to get started?

From what little I've seen, I need to run a starting pokemon by you to see if it's okay.
Starting ambitious... is Chansey or Miltank a viable starting pokemon?

We'll be starting at Level 1, and our Pokemon will be Level 10. Starting Money: 2000 Poke, though we can figure something out based on a (required) backstory.
Now, there's a thing for Pokemon that you need to learn, but I'm terrible at explaining this kinda thing. It's called Base Relations, and it poops on everyone who wants to completely break everything's day.

Chansey's an evolved Pokemon, so I'll have to say no to Chansey. Happiny is a maybe, but no Chansey. Miltank is... Complicated.
