Raising the question once more to all the D&D / Mafia players.
Do you feel that the PbP has grown to the point that Posting Games have began to flood over the more structured games like D&D / PF / Mafia / Magic?
And if would it be a good idea to reorganize the forum a little bit? Or would it make it too difficult / too much work to bounce back and forth between serious / silly games.
The forum would be set up something like this, but opinions and input are not only welcomed but encouraged:
Play By Post AreaSetup ZoneCheck for interest, recruit players, or find a game host. Whatever you're playing, it starts right here.
Forum Posting GamesA forum for the various message board posting games. One Word Story, Word Association, Throw Something, and much more!
Structured Play-By-PostActive GamesAll D&D and Roleplay threads are In-Character. Please only post in a D&D / Roleplay / Mafia thread if you are a player or host in that game.
Out Of CharacterAll Out-Of-Character conversation for active games. Ask your GM or players a question, discuss strategies with your party members, or brag about that critical hit.
The primary place where a choice exists is the Structured games area. It could exist as two forums (like it does now) named, say... Structured Games and Out Of Character. Or it can exist as a forum with a subforum, like
M:EM does. Thus on the index you would have a forum called Structured Games, and once you clicked into that forum all the active games would be on your page and a subforum for Out of Character threads would be in a bar across the top (like M:EM's archive subforum).
Let me know your thoughts, ideas, possible names and descriptions.
Thanks!
