Goblins Everywhere!

This used to be such a great place. But then the goblins moved in. It was almost expected, based on the name "No Goblins Allowed". I mean, it's almost begging them to come. And, they did, in droves. They started off small, sneaking in a few at a time, and then, one night, while the moderation team was dealing with an unusually high number of spambots, they took over. There was nothing that could be done. The site was overwhelmed. Some people just shook it off "Hey, at least it's Goblins, not trolls, right?" But some just refused. A small group was formed, 9 people, intent on the elimination of the goblins, and the recovery of NGA.

The Anti-Goblin Fighters!
1: *Zherog
2: *squinty_eyes
3: *Mown
4: *Roaring Mouse
5: *bentz
6: *razorborne
7: *altimis
8: *seTiny
9: *aaarrrgh

* means the player has checked in and is ready to play

Of the 9 players, 3 are goblin spies

The Rules:
(1) Leadership will rotate based on the order everyone signed up.
(2) You have 48 hours to PM me your vote after a Leader has proposed a team, on whether or not the team should be allowed to go on the mission.
(3) Five failed mission proposals fail the entire mission.
(4) Only one Fail is required for any approved mission team to fail the mission.*
(5) If you are Resistance on an accepted mission, you must PM me a Success.
(6) If you are Spy on an accepted mission, you may PM me either Success or Fail.
(7) First team (Resistance or Spies) to reach 3 points wins.
(8) You may not quote your PMs from me.
(9) If I do not receive your vote on a mission team within the allotted time, it will be counted as a "No" and noted as a defaulted vote.
(10) Team proposals will be listed in the order I receive them, as well as who voted each way.
(11) Pass or Fail cards will not be revealed in a specific order and no names are given.
(12) No communication about the game outside of the game thread

*For the 4th mission, with 9 players, 2 fail cards are required for the mission to fail


Number of player required per mission:
Mission 1: 3
Mission 2: 4
Mission 3: 4
Mission 4: 5*
Mission 5: 5

Mission 1: The Metaboard

The metaboard? Does anyone go there?
Yes, it's a critical, strategic area. It's where the new people who sign up go to look at the rules, how to format posts.
Plus, it's where the Code of Conduct resides. Can you imagine if the goblins are able to change that?


Well, it's started. They have gotten into the metaboard. They started small, posting here and there in the stats thread, and some other random threads. As more and more goblins started joining, they started posting more and more, announcing each and every new goblin. Anyone who mentioned "It's called No Goblins Allowed" was reported to the moderation team time and time again, until they dropped it. The only thread that was safe was the Code of Conduct. But, how long can it remain safe? Intel has come in that the goblins have discovered a way to get into the board using a GobO account. With that account, they will be able to update the CoC with whatever goblin related items they want. The first mission requires 3 of the Anti-Goblin fighters. First, they will need to break into the insecure terminal (which is just GobO_Sapper's computer.). One of the team members will have to be the lookout, both for Goblins and GobO_Sapper (in case he comes back to post something). The other two will work on the computer, changing all of Sapper's passwords, which are clearly documented on a post-it attached to his monitor. This should be an easy mission, but, if any spies are on it, they will get the updated passwords, which will give the goblins full access to the system.



The first leader will be: aaarrrgh!

I'll update the OP, but yeah, 9 people is 3 spies // 6 town.

I think Mafia left me paranoid, because the moment I saw Mown's posts all I could do was jump to wild conclusions that he's a Spy because he doesn't want to acknowledge his PM publicly, hiding what he found out.

so I should probably make the same post here I did in Dante's: I'm moving into my new place tomorrow, will have uncertain internet until friday. I'll do my very bestest to get on enough to participate, and there's very little to go on before the first mission anyway, but I thought y'all should know.
