Potato: Is Life.


The first thing you should know about the potato is that it is life. It sustains in times of hardship (just ask the Irish). It comforts the soul (just ask the Southern Mashers). It nourishes the body (just ask WebMD). It helps us celebrate the good times (just ask Luksusowa). There is no aspect of life that the potato does not enrich. Potato is life, let us live on this potato journey.

The Raw Uncut

Each player will start the game unrefined, as all potatoes start. You will have no roles. But that does not mean there isn’t value to this mode. Raw Uncuts are communal jacks of all trades. Their possibilities are boundless. They could become twice baked, fried, skinned, scalloped, mashed or even hashed. To represent this boundless possibility all Raw Uncuts will have access to a set of communal abilities. But be weary, only the first player to select an ability will be the one to use it that night (you’ll be told if you select something taken already and allowed to choose again). Players can only use each ability once and inaction isn’t an option (besides the inaction option). The choicest potatoes become the choicest dishes after all. Make your choices carefully but always make haste.

  • You target a Player to learn that players potato type.
  • You target a Player to roleblock them (this still expends that players use of the ability they chose).
  • You target a Player to either slice, mash or skin them (you choose their fate).
  • You target a Player to rolestop them (this still expends any uses of abilities targeting that player).
  • You opt to peel yourself (peeled potatoes have a 25% chance of redirecting a slice or mash target to themselves, they cannot be skinned).
  • You opt to do nothing tonight.
  • You target a Player to see who they targeted (if anybody) that night.

Potatevolution

The thing about Raw Uncut Potatoes is that they become something so much better and they do it by essentially dying. You know what that means…if you think you’re getting rid of a Raw Uncut that easily you’re a bit mashed in the head. Even by lynch, the first time a Raw Uncut would go out of the game they will instead be randomly sliced or mashed, evolving to a delectable dish and even more dangerous potential opponent.

Rules


1. Talking is prohibited outside of the thread unless specified by the mod.
2. You may disclose your role information in the thread in any manner you see fit, but keep in mind no information provided by a player will be confirmed to be true by the mod.
3. Do not edit, delete or post in hard to read colors, codes, or other intentionally visually deceptive methods (ie, intentionally not bolding votes, etc).
4. Do not post in the game thread after you are dead. Not even a "Blargh, I'm dead."
5. Give notice if you will be absent from the game for more than 48 hours.
6. All votes must be bolded and colored in contrast to the rest of the post containing them. You do not need to unvote to vote again.
7. Lynches will be held by majority, or by plurality at deadline. In the event of a tie, random votes will be removed until no ties exist.
8. Be courteous of all other participants involved with the game. This rule is punishable by mod kill without warning at the mod's discretion.
9. As always, ask the questions. Answers are there for those that do.

Man I thought that OP was looking weird. I'll get the rules in it later but it's my standard lynching procedure in terms of placing votes and breaking ties.
