This is awkward. Your host, Nero Wolfe, just fell over dead in the middle of dinner. At most dinner parties, this would be cause for panic. But you have all seen similar things before. In fact, that is the reason Mr. Wolfe invited you to his home. This was meant to be a dinner party for the greatest crime solving minds in the world. Now, apparently, it is a murder mystery dinner instead. The police are called, but they quickly assume this was just Wolfe’s obesity finally catching up to him. You all know better. Wolfe had been dropping hints that he believed someone on the guest list had a dark secret which he had figured out. Wolfe’s assistant Archie begs you all to stay and figure out what really happened. Fritz, Wolfe’s personal chef, quickly begins preparing a new meal (this time never letting it out of his sight to ensure no more poison gets administered). As you sit down for your belated dinner, you are all starting to itch a bit to get going on what promises to be the greatest case any of you have ever faced. However, one of Nero Wolfe’s most important rules was “No talking business at mealtime.” So, out of respect for your host, it seems a fitting tribute to eat in silence. Instead, you each quietly observe one another, trying to spot any sign of guilt within your little party. This is going to be quite an adventure!

You have 48 hours to discuss your findings and place votes. You may vote to skip to the next night phase. Day ends early if a majority of all but one of the players votes to skip or votes for the same person. Otherwise, the person with the most votes at end of day gets lynched.

Zinger with the reverse filibuster. My initial hot take sans Zingers results and under the assumption KoD got scum results (as that's how his post reads to me at least) has me leaning Tevish as paranoid/insane under most scenarios (sane/random being the outliers). Amber and I are the front runners for naive, as the only town results so far. Naturally everyone has a random outlier note to them and somebody was likely inverted last night. One result is not going to be enough to make meaningful moves off of just yet. I'll post my full break down when I get back to a computer. Hopefully Zinger will be present by then and I can fill in the gaps.

These are the notes I did last night. Let me know if you see anything that seems off. I don't know why I thought Tevish popped Insane/Paranoid more than goose or KoD before. I was hoping Zinger would get in a claim before this so I could finish this off but also so that it wouldn't stand as an easy reference if he is scum and needs to lie, but it's minor work he could do himself at this point so I don't think it'll effect much. Given we are at less than 24 hours left until deadline, we should push on regardless.

Incorrect: I recieved Guilty on KoD so in the "KoD is Scum" scenario I'm sane/paranoid, not naive as you list.

We also have a random cop, which means the JD scum scenario is still "live".

That's probably where the mental disconnect was coming from. And I addressed that every single player still had the possibility of being the random cop in my post previous to my note post. I didn't see a point of writing it next to every single player because of that though.

Mongoose looks like a Killer to my eyes.

Note, KoD didn't actually come out with an investigation result. He merely came out and ordered me to spill it, implying he got a result but that could very easily be leading you to make assumptions that are untrue.

Note, in the last Dethy game, Holiday KoD said on Day 1 that he was not the killer, even though he had NOT actually investigated himself, he merely was making a statement of fact about something he knew to be true and letting y'all assume that was his investigation.

My *point* was that you are comfortable making statements that aren't inherently a lie but will lead people to make the wrong conclusion, as JD did above thinking you got a killer result on me, and I wanted to make sure everyone was wise to these tricks so that they didn't hurt the town down the road.

I wasn't suggesting it was alignment indicative behaviour.

I, too, am comfortable going to night, now.

After some time of discussion, which unfortunately didn't lead to any clear accusations, Archie shows you to your rooms. You will have to think about all of this separately and pick it up in the morning.

After a good night’s sleep, you arrive at breakfast with renewed resolve to figure out what is really happening here. However, after a few minutes you realize a chair is empty. Archie goes to see if its intended occupant has overslept, and makes a grisly discovery! Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher, aka Shadow Amber, appears to have been smothered with a pillow at some point during the night. This is most unfortunate, and it seems you had better pick up the pace on solving this. As disrespectful to your late host as it might be, it seems you will have to talk business over breakfast!
