The fact that PK made an additional account for this game has me paranoid.

Is there anyone else as uncomfortable as I am with Aarrgh having the ability to unilaterally 1) end the day and 2) execute whoever they want? At this point, I'm thinking the best course of action is to recall our executory powers, unless Aarrgh or someone else can give a good reason why we shouldn't.

I'd like to hear what the One can do before doing anything hasty.

While Arrgh can choose whoever he wants, we can also ask him to eliminate someone of our choosing as well.

Really it is a matter of whether or not we want the day to end with a death.

I'm personally ok with Arrgh having the ability. Serves as a talking point, and depending on his choice it'll give an idea as to his alignment.

My concern is that we don't necessarily know if the One will act in the best interests of the Town or not, so it seems pretty dangerous. I had the advantage of being the first out of the gate with the vote with nine needed, so there weren't a huge amount of immediate consequences to my vote, since I can retract it if necessary.

So what if you can retract your vote? You want him recalled for the stated reasons do you not?

I admit I'm not positive votes can be retracted, but there's nothing that leaves me to think that they can't be.

I also stated that I do want a recall unless Aarrgh or someone else gives a good explanation why this power should rest with Aargh, so I am open to leaving it there as well.

Honestly, on Day 1, there's not much of a difference between a random person killing someone and the town lynching [s]Kant[/s] someone at random.

But, I like voting and it's probably in our interest not to kill anyone just yet anyway.

Sure.

You can vote for a player like so Vote: Kant. You can also Unvote: Kant as well. There is usually a number to lynch - if say, a Kantwagon had 7 votes, and it's 7 to lynch, he is lynched. It's locked in. The unvote does nothing once a wagon (the votes) on a player hits the number to lynch.

In this scenario, you may Unvote: Recall. That will remove one vote to recall The One.

In the future you will be allowed to Vote: No Lynch and Vote: Rynch (Random Lynch).
