Corporate Punishment
Everyone knew corporations were taking over, people saw it coming, and much like how all Democracy is, the people voted corporations in. Not in an official capacity, but with their dollars. People couldn't help spending, and they spent enough to give the full amount of power right to the mega corporations of the world. Now the run things, and it's time to change that, and for the better. You nine have collected here to stop five pivotal events from occurring, because if everything goes through as they plan, there will be no option to stop them. There is hope, if you can stop at least three of these events, you'll stand a chance farther down the line. If you fail now, there will be no turning back.

Starting small, there is a benefit dinner tonight. The dinner is mostly a smoke screen for the Council of the Corporations to wheel and deal. If you manage to slip through security, shut down the power and make it out without getting caught, you'll stop these deals from pushing through.
