I said this in telepath chat more than once, but...

Kudos, Soup, for having me fooled. Well-played.

Mown and Eli - I appreciate that you think I'm clever enough to make up an ellaborate ruse that invoved me being mafia but pretending to be cop in the telepath chat. But really, guys, I'm just not that smart. ;)

There were three things I was sure of in this game: Tiny was town, Scarlet was Town, and Confused was dirty. One outta three - if I were a baseball player, I'd be going to the hall of fame with that average!

Can I run a game sooner or later?

I prepared one on px2 but never managed to run it,the only problem is that it's for 13 players and 15377 can't enter because I hate Americans(or maybe it was because I discussed the set-up with him? I can't remember)

I'm almost done with creating the Mafia queue thread, but I'll put your name on top of the list already. Just give me the name of the game.

The sign-up thread can be started as soon as Dante's Inferno starts playing.

People can see my take on priority and the outcome of the game in the mafia thread.

That aside, I'd like to commend Fel on a well played game (role usage wise). Out of three nights he blocked two mafia members. He was unlucky that my paranoia is insanely high, as I almost had myself carry out the kill night 2, otherwise he would have stopped a kill on top of that too. Had priority faired differently I strongly believe he would have caught on to Scar as well, which I believe would be the beginning of the end for mafia. Personal pick for Town MVP.

Commends on Soup as well. Until the final day he was doing a bang up job of deceiving the telepaths and distancing from myself. I never told him who the rest of the mafia was so he would just react naturally to them. In the last day I felt he tried too hard to distance from me, although that did allow me to paint a pretty mafia picture between him, garren, and confused. Personal pick for Mafia MVP.

On the no lynch Day 3, you're welcome town. As I reasoned that day if there was a mislynch (and being from the mafia perspective I could see that's clearly how things were going) and then two town deaths in the night (had priority played out differently...) then there wouldn't have been that final day. In my opinion I did mafia a pretty big disservice arguing for this one, but it looks good on paper?

As for my play and "making more sense", I have one gear in mafia. Sometimes I make more sense, but usually only when I have greater information. When I'm vanilla, for example, I do the same things, but it's based on my reads rather than being able to assume things are truths because I know certain people are town (don't assume that this knowledge has to come from being scum though, least you accidentally lynch power roles from time to time).

Neo, overall I think you did an excellent job hosting. Despite the priority issue and how I may feel it should have played out, you encountered a problem, created a solution, and stuck by the methods you chose to implement. You can't ask any more of a host. As you continue to grow and develop your own style of hosting, you'll only become that much more stronger of a host. Thanks for the game, it was very enjoyable.

I knew the numbers got Alt as a lyncher was too good to be true. Seriously, of all the people in the game, numbers not only got the lyncher role, but got me as his target for the lyncher role. Too bad I was too dead to say so :p

Sorry I meant "supposedly".
If I had been alive with an excuse like that, I would have been all over it. Normally, I expect that behaviour from numbers, but this game he " had a reason" Not on my watch!

That said I was thoroughly confused. I targeted people I didn't have a good read on, but was blocked both nights :(

You wouldn't have been. I voted Ace D2 with the intention of bringing it back around on to you in D3 (already had the next day's lynch worked out in my head). Had the vig not vigged you, I would have taken care of it before I claimed anyways. :P

Of course fel, but if you do it again I'm lynching you. Now go to your room!

@Zherog:
I will tell you about it

@15377: And I figured you wouldn't have claimed if I was still alive, which just made it all the more frustrating in the dead thread haha. I'm surprised that no one else really brought it up either; like not even a mention (as far as I recall).

Next time I have to trust my instincts more. I had a gut feeling that Scarlet was mafia, but I couldn't attach a mafia motive. The miller role just felt too convenient.

Also told you I was being honest :-P. Since this was my first game as town I figured it was the best way to play. I see some mistakes I made, so hopefully I will play better.

Number I really thought your were town after the aces lynch, and the no lynch vote.

Oh! Fun fact that I intentionally didn't mention during the last day, I didn't pull the lyncher role out of my ass. I actually had it in a previous game where I chose to place my team above my win condition for the greater good. Another (albeit slightly less than) nugget of truth that's easier than formulating a complete lie. I neglected to mention it during this game, however, because it didn't look favorably upon me. In that game I was mafia aligned lyncher who had the secondary task of lynching the Don in order to replace him. Early game I distanced extremely hard against him, with the idea that he might topple by chance, but late game it was far too risky to the integrity of our numbers to off him, so I let it be.
I wish I could remember the name of the game. Maybe original Post Apoc, or some kind of Armageddon? Whichever it was I'm pretty sure it's not on the px2 backlogs any more.

And, for the record, his target for the last night was Soup. So, aside from blocking Alt on N1, he only targeted mafia. And, honestly, who doesn't want to target Alt all the time?

We're never going to win are we? Boo hoo hoo. On the upside I survived right up until the end. Huzzah! That's a win as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks man! I will say...I think I learned more about how to play this game by hosting it than by playing it. But, on the priority issue...I'm still just not sure - well, I'm sure I'm not having 3 blockers again!
Honestly, I think the bigger mistake was not giving Squinty his kill...honestly, if the double block thing hadn't happened, and already had me go with my dice idea, I think Squinty would have gotten his kill before you all NK'ed him.

Live and learn!

Town's been able to win the dethy games...that's something, right?

And ultimate, since there was no actual mafia in that game.

I just need to start the game with a sign that says lynch me, or you'll regret it.
