That's a reasonable assumption, on my part, to make. We banish someone to Nowhere. The Void people throw one of us into Nowhere.

Don't get me wrong. I could be wrong about the rate at which someone fishes people out of Nowhere. If that rate is equivalent to both those events, then I'll be genuinely surprised.

I feel I'm being fair in my assumption though.

@KoD, the need to banish people is out of a sense of survival. But if we fish at a rate of 1 to 1, the sense of survival disappears and the need to banish extra people goes with it. The Void will not be able to make any progress and eventually will surrender peacefully or be ineffectual as we complete our tasks at hand in this apocalypse. Thus the path of non aggression.

But I'm not here for that, I'm here for War. And CL has already lost (the war) even if he doesn't realize it yet.

from what I understood this whole banish to nowhere just a flavor way to say kill someone, right

based on the op if we can fish people out of it that would mean either a reviver or someone that can specifically bring pestilence back and I dont expect any of those to be necessarily good right?? either mafia is busted this game or this roles will have a drawback
since the op also says it's slightly bastard-ish im more inclined toward the latter

The flavour of this game is throwing me through a loop. Based on what it actually is, bringing Pestilence back would seem like a bad idea, but based on my role name there might be closer alignment in that than I would imagine. I don't feel comfortable saying what my role is at this point, not knowing what I don't know yet about this.

I'm pretty sure the fishing thing is also just flavor but you never know.

right now I'm slightly more inclined to vote towards JD because I feel like this flavor discussion specially the fishing part doesn't add much and is an easy way to make players misassume stuff early on in the game, which kinda snowballs later on

on the other hand if this kinda stuff *does* turn out to be relevant that kinda makes JD seem a lot townier, so keeping him around long term also has its benefits
