You may think it's a jerk move, but I asked you, pointedly, if you knew why you were locked. Because from my perspective, with a day ability, it easily could have implied that there was another day ability in play locking people. Given my own ability, I thought it would be an interesting and worthwhile shot to see if we could learn anything about the board as a whole. Until you went off about it, you could have been vanilla. Or vanilla plus the weak rolestop of starting locked. You might not even have known you were locked, and until I asked the question neither I nor we as a whole were getting any closer to the truth. Nothing you quoted about how being locked works implies it can only apply to players with strong and significant PRs. Literally anyone can be locked.

Further, in my analysis it was useful to speak up with privileged information when it was received literally at the start of the game, before we burned most of a game day puttering around with memes. In a sense, your furious retaliation is, while not the exact result I desired, at least in the spectrum because it meant we didn't have time with no-evidence screwing around. People had to make statements regarding actual play, in turn drawing their play into the game.

@Skystone: We saw Faerie's scum play last game, whether or not that's useful to you.

Sorry, started a new job this week so I lost track of the game while figuring out my new life balance.

After a (not very detailed) read through, I feel like the only interesting thing which has happened is the Tevish/Zinger debacle, which has already been commented and analyzed to death. I'm inclined to think they are both town at this point.

Had anything else of note happened that I've missed?

Big foot was spotted on page 6. UFOs invaded page 9. The whole game died and resurrected on page 12. I, myself, am only on page 2 so we'll see if any of this pans out.

What? There is little to no way to read the sentence I quoted here except as an assertion from your end that mafia should reach the same conclusion about power roles even if I'm right and you got there from hidden information. I am thus only asking you to back up a claim that you made. How are you certain that mafia ought to be aware regardless of the case?

@Tevish/Faerie: I actually meant to write both. I.e. we would need to see more than one scum game plus town exemplars (mafia kart + one other scum game + two town games) in order to have any meaningful basis for assessing whether Faerie does successfully emulate her own town play as scum.

I read the article rules much the same as Tevish, as in everyone can be locked and there are abilities that can lock players.
They also say players can unlock themselves any time, but doesn't say that about locking. So a power role would have to unlock itself to be useful, and at that point isn't protected by other abilities... Which makes me think mafia doesn't have to be overly concerned about locked power roles - at least not any more than in normal games. It would of course be beneficial for them to get them lynched before they unlock, so I see Zingers's concern here, but nobody pushed for his lynch at all, so not convinced that was Tevish's intention.

@Tevish You didn't answer my question and you dodged it. I need you to respond back to it because on some parts I didn't understand on what you were saying.

What is the case against Skystone, Rag/KoD?

It is entirely possible and even likely that such a push would have been made after I responded to his initial inquiry had I not hit Tevish so hard with my arguments against him first.

If you help me lynch Tevish toDay, I will give you my vote to help you lynch whomever you wish tomorrow (assuming we are both still alive), be that Skystone or someone else, whether I agree with your case against them or not. You can trust I won't go back on my word cuz of my NLP and all. C'mon, you're the one who persuaded me to join this game. Do a friend a favour and help me lynch my scumspect toDay and I'll help you lynch yours tomorrow.

Three votes are required minimum for the Day to end in a lynch. Currently, Tevish and Skystone are both tied at 2 votes each, but neither have enough votes to constitute a lynch so the "tied votes" rule won't apply.

I don't want to see the Day end without a lynch, do you? Anyone who is not voting Tevish or Sky should pick one of them and move their vote so that we at least hit the three-vote minimum. Preferably not on both so the Day doesn't end in a tie, but as long as there's still a lynch.
