i'm torn between wanting to vote no lynch to speed things up and not wanting to no lynch because i'm afraid it will result in me losing eventually

Funny, I had the opposite problem last game

Well I mean there's three no lynches down already so unless one of us changes it's irrelevant anyway.

While I've been a vocal pacifist in the past, I feel like just sitting still and waiting to be brought into another cult is a pretty boring way to play a game which could be weird and funny. Like, if this is the direction were going there's not really a reason to play at all.

If there were a way to accelerate cult spread or mechanically reach a win without agreement to sit on our hands in deadlock, I would agree. As it stands, the winning move is to pick a player willing to cult, everybody drink the Kool-aid and wait for it to take effect. I've offered to stand for that post and nobody else has stepped up to say I shouldn't or they'd like to instead. Lynching doesn't meaningfully affect this; it could see the game end faster, in terms of IRL time, but at the end of the day with the culting action always changing your target to your origin cult, there is no "endgame" outside of a) Gentelmens' agreement from everyone left to NL and wait or b) total dead-to-the-last-man annihilation where only one player with a cult leader role (which we explicitly all have) is left standing.

I will say that I have a strange and roundabout way of winning which would not require me to be part of your plan, but it would be unrealistic to try and do so under these circumstances.

I kinda hope there is a nightkill somewhere just so that "do nothing" isn't the optimal strategy, but whatever.
