i think that kind of role is substantially more likely to be scum or 3p or jester than if you picked a random player from this game

d1, i think lynching someone who is more likely than average to be anti-town is a good move. in fact, that's usually a good move

Rubik - I disagree. I think it's more likely to be a town role, and, if it were a scum role, I would expect it to be downplayed, rather than out in the open on D1. If scum had a powerful vote manipulation ability, I would expect it to be less in the open, until it can be used to start the hammer.

It's possible that the ability gets weaker as time goes on. I think being open about that sort of ability initially is necessary regardless of alignment. If you surprise hammer someone, you'll get a lot of heat the next day.

Personally, my first guess is that it's PK. And PK is probably either scum or a 3p role that wins by itself. Failing that, it could potentially be a town-jester (maybe Ragnarokio).

I think it makes no sense for town to have that strong of a charismatic voter, I think it only makes sense if:
A. the player is aligned with themselves (and thus needs the added late-game power to have a viable chance at winning)
or
B. the player is part of a 2 man scum team and needs the extra power to make up for the lack of a third scum mate (and the fact there's likely a second [non-cult] threat to the town

The way JD is flaunting it makes it feel like he's fine getting targeted with abilities N1 (which also reinforces my belief that it's PK, who has apparently been targeted by something like 11 abilities N1 before). He's clearly got at least 2 abilities, probably more. His abilities seem to say "I control who dies, I control who lives, I don't even have to hide it." 90% sure he's PK. (That's a 9/10 chance for those of you who left your abacuses at home.)

Any role with this many abilities is extremely unlikely to be town or pro-town (unless he's the jester, in which case we still want him dead).

With Jac and Skyhunter apparently being part of the mafia team, I don't think the PK role is a scum role.
(For those not in the loop. Skyhunter is my younger brother and one of the few who could read PK really well. He was a mod for the predecessor of Px2 as well. So I doubt PK would side with us xD)

Anyway. Mostly confirming at the moment. It's past 10PM here and have a long and early day tomorrow.

We should ask HW what he thinks. Because MS Paint 2 is canon and all.

Also I'll get major heat when I hammer at L-2 regardless if I tell you before hand or not. Also also why doesn't anyone want to mention the fact that I shortened deadline tomorrow by 48 hours? Also also also I'm voting for KoD because I don't care for his current posting structure. KoD still gets me though. <3

I'll be useless after day 2 so I gotta start a ruckus now. It's what the design file demands.

It's possible that PK is a godfather and that JaC and/or Skyhunter are among his subordinates.

It's also possible that PK is not a member of mafia and that he's a separate threat to town.

There is essentially no chance that PK isn't in the game.

There is essentially no chance that PK is a pro-town role.

I can only guess at the design so much, but I'm fairly certain that PK is in this game and that he is a threat and if it's likely that JD is PK, he needs to be killed.

idk what town gains from you being intentionally ambiguous and bread-crumbing this information about yourself slowly throughout the day

tell us everything that it would be good for town to know about your abilities right now and omit the rest. we don't need to waste the entire day speculating about what the extent of your abilities are if you just tell us what you want us to know right now so we have more time to process the information

Town doesn't gain anything Rubes. Nothing about my role is either damning nor saving. Every aspect of my role is pretty open to the public to see, as the vote counts and mod updates have shown. Every aspect of my role only fires on days 1 and/or 2 so there's no reason not to flaunt them while I can. The design file necessitates that I start problems after all.
