"How am I supposed to know what is normal here? Still, it seems reasonable that that which is paid for by the people ought to be used by any of their representatives rather than a specific few. Besides, we are, in a way, a maintenance crew, cleaning certain unpleasant things from the sewers, yes?" The Draenei shrugs. "But who am I to say?"

John sighs. "That's not how the court-martial would see it."

Kod shuffles the items in the box around a couple of times till he is content. He looks over his shoulder. "Relax. I wanted to make sure there was nothing we would absolutely need in here. Like a key in case we encounter a door we need to unlock down here. You never know after all."

Kod closes the box and turns around to look at his companions. "Time is ticking," Kod says as he looks at John. "Care to lead the way towards where that garbage chute comes out or shall I?" Kod looks around to get his sense of direction working in the sewers to best determine how to navigate to his intended destination.

Perception Check

Kod takes a moment to look at Finnora. "Don't worry about what is normal too much. You'll pick up on what is and isn't normal."

You're not quite sure. In front of you is a crossroads, and you think it might either be the one that goes forward or the one that goes left. The forward way is less smelly, but the left way isn't as covered in slime.

Kod looks at John, then motions in the direction of the path leading left. "Come on. I want to find whatever it was that goblin saw." Kod takes off at a brisk pace making his way to the slime covered pathway intent on making up for lost time.

John shrugs and falls in step with the paladin. He ignites a sunrod from his belt pouch and holds it up in his free hand, so that the humans have light to see by.

OOC: Pretty sure you can do whatever you want to your heart's content. DM will let you know otherwise. I'm currently waiting on either a description of the path John and I are going down. Not sure about the rest of you. Feel free to follow if you want.

Finnora follows behind the others, the soft glow of the sunrod a point of reference in the darkness of the sewers, beating back the both physical and spiritual shadows.

The sewer continues on, smelly and gross, forward past your sunrod's light. To your left, on your side of the passage, is a wooden door bound with iron that hangs lopsidedly on one hinge. Inside is a chamber in which you can see a cot, a table and chair, a big puddle of water, and a chest on the table about the size of a microwave.

Eyeing the chest dubiously Steve cautions his companions to be weary of the puddle of oil. That chest looks mighty....explodey. Anyone have a long stick, or.....some plate armour? Picking up the note he narrows his eyes. John, are these some sort of rooming for the workers, or has someone been squatting here? At the mention of large rats and voices in the night he sighs and mumbles something about gnolls to himself.

Wedrix is still not sure why everyone is so enticed about getting so smelly over a furball in the sewers, but he wouldn't want the guilt of having them get lost without his supervision, and decides to follow after.

You might want to set up an OOC thread.
