Thirty-Four keeps running, even as the kobolds and Irontooth lose interest, he doesn't stop running until his legs burn and scream at him to stop. "They were still alive and I ran... what's wrong with me?" He hangs his head and tries to collect himself before heading back towards the town.

The Town Of Winterhaven

The town guards stiffen at the posts as a single figure approaches in the distance, nothing more than a spec on the horizon at first but growing larger with very quickly giving evidence to its quick speed. As the person gets close enough to being making it out they can see a man with a staff wearing tattered and dirtied robes and then finally they are able to recognize him as Thirty-Four, the sorcerer for the adventuring party that had causes such a ruckus in town the day previous. They consider baring the way considering the history between the adventurers and the not only the town citizens but especially the town lord but soon realize the condition of the battered man and can see his robes are not just caked with mud but of dried blood. Thirty-Four quickly retells the happenings at the kobold lair in the woods and the fate that had befallen his companions and the guards quickly direct him to Captain Rond where he reports the goblin raider Irontooth who had viciously attacked them in the cavern. Rond will report this information to Lord Padraig and give his deepest condolences to the sorcerer regarding his friends.

Will Thirty-Four return home to Fallcrest or will he stay in town and attempt to avenge his companions? Are there truly dealt cultists in the area and are the kobolds in league with them? What nightmarish horrors could be lurking beneath the ruined stones of the dilapidated keep? Only time shall tell...
