Sorry about that, I think I only noticed that claim after PK unvoted tho, so it was useless.

JD claimed he tried to send me a message and I claimed i didn't receive one. I thought that a blocker and JD lying were both probable explanations until you mentioned the rules, at which point i was almost certain JD was lying.

I feel that the biggest issue of this game was everyone not reading the rules, like, they say:
This is a standard mafia game with mafia and town factions, with no other factions.

And:

5. town aligned players, unless otherwise specified, have the wincon: "You win when all threats to the town are eliminated, or when this outcome cannot be prevented".
6. mafia aligned players, unless otherwise specified, have the wincon: "You win when all threats to the mafia are eliminated, or when this outcome cannot be prevented".

Like, just with those two and the sleeper PM I found super likely for this to be reversed before anybody tried to send messages.

Even tried to hint people about it by claiming I had the USUAL town wincon, but apparently nobody read the starting pm.

Also sorry amber, but I read rubik defense of you as you two being masons, especially when rubik claimed he was defending you since d1, was not really expecting the game to contain a mafia handler, or a mafia power role at all.

Well, CL has that what you want to be when you grow up thing, but idk where that's at.

I'd be willing to try and host a game, but it's going to be in the same vein as Rag's MS Paint games. The only difference is I'd like it to be a you pick styled game where you guys pick literally anything.

I can't promise balance, only an attempt.

Mostly because I have no idea what I am doing.

I have a game that is mostly finished I can launch in a pinch, I just need a reviewer for a sanity check.

for what its worth i think those two lines were copied directly from MS paint mafia which had a typical setup.

This was incredibly challenging. I actually almost counterclaimed you btw HW, then changed my mind.

I felt pretty doomed Day 3. The game had zero room for town to blend in. You can see my frustration in chat because the rules forbid 3rd party, so I had to claim mafia survivor. Survivor is a good Px2 fake claim, selves are barely ever held to any kind of scrunity. I was fortunate to just never actually answer the question and get away with it. That basically saved me from dying.

I felt like you had my number Rag because the game incentivized me to play one way early on, then flip in a way later. And I usually know mentally why I do certain things but here, it made it incredibly hard to argue both for myself and against anyone. I also saw the writing on the wall with your pair with Aargh, which is why I threw in the towel on your lynch.

If Neo was active we do probably lose. My original plan was to bus KoD and JD, then endgame by lynching Neo for being inactive. Maybe that would have worked out, but the tea leaves started to suggest having falsely confirmed JD with Naga's confirmation of messages. So I just went for the vote switch, which was really just to unvote.

I feel fortunate to have escaped that situation Rag tbh, I was sure I was going down. The game flop really put me in a hole. Without the survivor trick working, I'd been screwed.

Big props to JD and KoD for taking the rhetorical burden since I went with the survivor. Really feel like this was a cohesive team effort. Although I feel we could have been way more evil in a traditional game.

But yeah I was super frustrated with the fact anyone mafia was basically confirmed innocent. We had no power roles or counterplay.

I also got very frustrated I was unable to bus KoD lol.

Harry Potter Mafia > Conflux > This. In sheer degree of difficultly.

Networker plus cop plus messaging and no town counterclaims, oooow. Plus no self roles. Really gave us no room to maneuver
