Shelly and Tyler order, then the waitress leaves and returns with the food.

Roger releases 6 Pokémon, and hands all but one a different plate.

As the meal progresses, Trevor makes sure that Daimon is also eating well, while also checking Roger's pokémons with his pokédex.

"So, what are your guy's plan? What do you hope to accomplish on your journey?"

"Tyro, stop eating so fast, you'll make yourself sick" he says to one of his Pokémon, which is attempting shoving an entire pancake in its mouth.

Jet looks up as Roger speaks, his maw half filled with pancake. "That's *chomp* actually a *chew* a good point *gulp*. We kinda got sidetracked at the beach didn't we? Weren't we going somewhere? To do... something?" He leans back and closes his eyes for a moment while deep in though. "Hmm. Nope. Completely forgot!" He shrugs and chuckles before tearing a piece of pancake apart with his hands and passing a bit to Mimi who accepts it greedily.

Licking syrup of his fingers he points over the table at Rey and Joshua. "What about you guys? You handled yourselves pretty well when the sea-monster-thingy turned up. You trainers? And how about you two?" He points now at Jay and Tyler. "If you eat with us you gotta share a story. That's probably a rule or something right?"

Joshua pulls out his Pokedex and scans all the Pokemon in the room.

Joshua turns to Jet. "Yeah. I guess I am a trainer," he says with a smile. "I kind of just started my Pokemon adventure. I'm from Hoenn. Fresh off the boat. No idea where anything is here. Name's Josh," he says, unsure on if Jet had caught his name earlier or not.

Rey flips his hair and whips out his Pokedex, scanning any Pokemon he hasn't seen. "Scruffles and I came from the Kalos region. I grew up in Lumiose City, and I seek a beautiful, perfect world. Don't you seek a world that is less ugly than this one? I do. I'm sick of the world the way it is. People out there seek to twist and ruin the beauty of the world we live in today, and I strive to fix that. A wise man once formed a group bent to the same goal of beauty. But they're ways were twisted. They sought to use the Ultimate Weapon created a terribly long time ago. However, they were stopped. I agree with their beliefs, but their methods weren't correct." Rey suddenly gets quite silent, before speaking up once more.

"In short, perfection is my goal."

Rey then begins to eat.

"Yo man, that's... Cool." Jay then starts to chuckle awkwardly.

"You are escorting me to the Torinetine Trauma Center, and Olivine city, remember." Shelly says.

"Ah, my cousin Amy runs that place!" Roger says. "She's probably the nicest person you'll ever meet. You'd have to be, to still be able to function after working there for so long." he shudders "Man, some of those things that those poor Pokémon have been through... anyway.. my goal is to become champion."

"Really? Never would have guessed. Just try to keep out of trouble." he turns to Jay "Now, seeing as you asserted yourself into our conversation and got yourself a free meal, you are going to do something for me. he hands him a small box. "You are going to take this to Amy and give it to her. You will not open it. You will travel with these folks to confirm that this does not happen, since they are going there anyway. Understood?"

Mannnnnn, listen. I didn't ask for the free meal, you just gave me it. I would've been fine without one, so... Yeah. But whatever floats your boat, bud." Jay takes the box and looks at it funny, Cider rubbing her head against it. "Come on, Cider, this is precious cargo! This guy who knows a guy wants us to take care of it."

Jay then comes to a realization. This guy probably has a ton of money and a ton of connections! Maybe he could get me some elemental stones for Cider! She gotta get tough, man! Jay then speaks up back to Roger.

"Hey man, I bet you can get me a Dawn Stone or even a Dusk Stone if I did this for ya. I really need me one of those..."

"I do have a Dusk Stone actually, but I'm saving it for something. I might be willing to trade it for a Shiny Stone, if any of you happen to have one. But I'm not going to just give you one or buy you one. My resources are not limitless, in fact.

Shelly finishes the food on her plate. "We should head out soon, before it gets to hot to travel. Unless anyone wants to challenge the Cherrygrove Gym"

Finally tuning back in to the conversation, having been focused on his food mostly, Joshua pipes up. "A parcel, huh?" Then, turning to Jay "Nice to meet you. I guess you'll be travelling with us? I'm not entirely sure where we are going." Turning back to Roger. "Thanks again for the meal. You're not coming with? What are your plans, then?"

"Nice to meet'cha as well, bro. Yeah, unless we're in Saffron City, I have no idea where we're going or what we're doing, man." Jay shrugs.
