I probably didn't make this abundantly clear in the rules, but votes are supposed to be public. Most of the time, you'll be voting by attacking with a creature. Some players might have the ability to vote without attacking with a creature. In either case, you still have to vote the player you are voting for in the game thread, usually by typing "vote: playername" in colored, bolded letters (with or without an attacking creature attached). I know the presence of creature rules muddies that somewhat, but to be perfectly clear: all votes must be made in the game thread.

I haven't included any secret voting abilities at all in this game.

Being able to vote without an attacking creature does not mean you can vote secretly outside the thread. Now, you don't have to reveal what is letting you place a vote without an attacking creature, that's fine... But the vote is still public.




Also, and completely unrelated, creatures untap at start of Day. I don't think I said that anywhere.

I've got to say, that Phoenix does not spark joy. Something about the leap to 2 power D1 and the lack of a flagged cost is setting me on edge.

the lack of flagged cost is probably because it can't be cast and can rather only be put onto the battlefield as a result of a trigger (which in this case is probably a result of narcomoeba attacking)

considering there is no card text on the phoenix itself i would gather its existence is a function of amber's passive ability.

im not actually sure that should even be in play at the moment, which is why i didn't call it out earlier; i would have definitely done so if it was something that i had predicted

Yeah... that doesn't look good. I doubted that KoD would be that obvious last game and we all know how that turned out.

That said, seeing as we No-lynched yesterday, we are in MyLo. Unless we're absolutely certain in our action, it is technically to our benefit to NL again since we will have more opportunities to get resources.

I agree that we shouldn't lynch today. It's harder to enforce today, though. It is easy enough for scum to throw a vote on someone who doesn't have a blocker close to deadline. It would be quite risky, but doable. Does anyone have an idea for how to avoid that?

I find this to be quite the risky strategy as scum would reveal themselves before they could control the Lynch, thanks to the voting combat rules. Anybody with multiple creatures would be able to fend off votes while applying their own. LyLo will be much more complex this game.

Yeah, so if scum has multiple creatures, and someone else is unable to block, we'd need multiple creatures ready to take it back. I don't think it will happen, but we need townies to be around close to deadline just in case.

Because of last game. You killed amber and you had them thinking she was framing you but she wasn't. So maybe shes plotting revenge. It just a theory.
