You are completely able to kick the assailant square in the stomach. Your great strength sends it flying across the alley and straight onto the ground. It doesn't move to attack again, and you turn and march off. Another hour will pass and you'll be home again with nothing else happening. As the poisons wear off, your body becomes heavy and you slump against the wall / chair / bed / wherever you think you are.

You are woken up by a fist hitting you in the face. You'd do your usual reaction of jumping up and attacking the one who hit you, but the throbbing in your head from the poisons keeps you dull enough for now. Opening your eyes, Natasha is there, clutching a hand to her ribs.

"I'm doing well, how are you?" Natasha asks. She gives a smile that you're all too familiar with, a smirk mixed with venom. Answering this question wrong might cost you a lot.

Khordek groggily starts to sit up from the bed. "Two thousand gold richer, may have a lead on the drugs, and being hit on by the most beautiful woman in the city." The half-orc raises his thumb and forefinger to the bridge of his nose and tries to massage away the pain from her blow.

"Someone out there is really eager to get us to stop asking questions about the goings-on of market row. Apparently we've made an impression." Khordek sits up and swings his legs over the side of the bed "The good news it looks like we're aimed in the right direction...the bad news is they know we're coming and willing to kill innocents in broad daylight on a crowded street to deter us..."

"It's from someone who wants us to stop?" Natasha asks. "Oh s--t." She runs to the bedroom and comes back out with both of your emergency packs. She starts lacing up her boots, grabbing cloaks, and finally she begins stretching the wires to set the traps she had laid out around the house. "Time to go, Genius."

"Uh huh..."The half-orc casually twists his neck one way and then the other causing it to pop a few times with each slow turn. Still sitting at the edge of the bed he cracks his shoulder blades and looks to see where he might have left his pack and weapon when he came home. Realizing he doesn't know what time of day it is, or even what day it is, he checks the light outside for some sort of indication.

"Hmmmm..." Khordek mutters realizing how much time must have passed while he slept and looking about for his gear again as Natasha runs about the house. Still groggy he continues to sit at the edge of the bed deciding whether to stand, decides against it, and simply yawns.

"If you're in the mood to sleep all day, be my guest," says Natasha. "But if they are just handing out that kind of gold, and my assumption is you rejected their proposition, odds are that there are going to be assassins sent here very, very soon. And I for one, would not like to be hunted, I'd rather be hunting them first."
