Framing herself worked out actually. She chose to hide among the largest pool of people (those who yielded naughty results). Targeting herself ensured that if she was targeted by the naive or insane santa it would just yield naughty. After all, consider that you all were convinced shenanigans from Krampus's ability were afoot and were willing to go into the next day.

The only reason we won is because you, Argh, chose to be cautious due to Lilan not playing D2. Course if you had been Krampus, that would have sucked.

I was really just going along with what the majority thought was reasonable. I checked right before deadline to see if anything had changed, but since Lilan didn't vote, I saw no reason to do anything.

Well, I also went after Lilan because I was the only player who had showed two different results and she was the one of my targets who wasn't confirmed town. But if she hadn't put the coal in her own stocking I would have read her as Town (because I was Naive), and thus have no read whatsoever. Then I could have accepted that she was just inactive.
