Under Available Roles - The only roles available to me would be scum, naive, and sane. For io it would be scum, insane, and paranoid.

Under the different scenarios - As far as I can see, I see no errors in regards to Zinger being scum, me being scum, or you being scum. You are also correct in that io can't be scum based on how the results have turned up.

In your other post, what was the angle that allowed you to determine that io has to be paranoid and possibly not insane? The naughty result on Eli (that io got) indicates either paranoid or insane.

Clearly, if someone is not killed tonight, we can assume that the inversion happened - we should be able to confirm based on the results. I doubt that the scum is going to use it at this point, as killing people is really the only way they can win.

@Neo: If a kill doesn't happen, then we can assume the ability was used by the Krampus; however, the next round of results won't necessarily tell us if the ability was used since we're all investigating someone we haven't investigated before.

Well...maybe I've thought about it too much. I could see someone not killing, and pretending to have used the ability to throw off the tracks, but then to actually use it the next night, leaving town wondering. While I thought, at the start, that might be a decent way to do it, I no longer do, since we already have so much information.
I think that, no matter what, we should know for 100% who the scum is after tonight, even if the ability is used.

Oh - and I'm still pretty sure it's Zinger - I mean, it could be you (KoD) but Zinger makes more sense.

Nothing specific. Since I know it's not Eli or Io, and I know it's not me, that means that it's clearly either you or KoD. KoD's viewpoints on things, and how he's been chatting, is more in-line with how I see it, and, since I'm town, I'm assuming he is as well.
Of course, I'm not sure enough to cast a vote yet - that should come tomorrow.

The way I see it is if the Krampus uses the inversion ability tonight, then we get an extra round of investigations. Our results from this night won't tell us if the ability was actually used since we're all going to be investigating people we haven't checked before; however, due to the extra investigation we'll gain we'll be able to confirm if it was used the following day with no problem. So either way we should be good to go with the proposed plan of investigating people we haven't yet.

I expect Krampus to not kill tonight, nor use the inversion, just to mess with us. Still, an extra round of investigations is not a bad outcome no matter what Wifom is going on. Alternatively, Io will be killed (since we've effectively ruled out Io as a suspect). I doubt either way that the inversion will be used.

Now, I understand you when you say it's just to mess with us, but why do you think the Krampus would prefer to mess with us (thereby allowing us to get more investigations in) as opposed to just killing again to prevent more investigations from going out? It hardly makes sense to even use the ability now when it'll be figured out easily enough as I've indicated in my previous post.

I'm with KoD here - I can't see Krampus not killing and not using the ability - although I would welcome it!

Because that's what I would do if I were Krampus at this moment.

It's unexpected and thus plays against everyone's supposed assumptions: that it would be smarter to do something than to do nothing.

What kind of a situation will we be in tomorrow if we go into it assuming that Krampus either will a) kill or b) use inversion? If the truth was that he chose to c) do nothing, then we would not be in a favorable position, I don't think.
