Yeah, I agree this is starting to make sense, and I probably just misinterpreted the chat somehow.

Today is LyLo. IF Sky was Town, I've given the Mafia the perfect opportunity to pile their votes onto mine and hammer him for a quick lynch. The only reason they will not have yet is that maybe they are waiting for all of them to be online at the same time to do it at once.

So, I guess we will see soon enough if that happens. If it does not, then Sky MUST be scum. There's no more wriggle room around it.

It's not going well.

Under the 3 scum assumption, which it seems like everyone holds, town has essentially lost if I am mafia. Barring a Rubik appearance, town can only muster 3-3, at which point my luck wins me the tie and scum wins.

Fortunately, I am not scum.

Unfortunately for scum, they seem to have pegged their victory on my lynch. But they actually can't lynch me alone. To wit:

I'm not scum, so if you are Town, and I've voted you as Town, then the Mafia can lynch you, assuming Rubik isn't their third member.

Another reason would be Rubik being one of them.

The worst part is, the fact that you have a "wins ties" ability means that you're right, barring an appearance from Rubik, we are basically screwed.

@JD, can you please prod Rubik and tell him it is Lylo and Town can't win without him?

It's also worth noting that Zinger's minimal case on me is predicated on my supposed association with Tevish, whom Zinger locked as scum. The entire basis for his argument is gone.

I suspect that mafia chose to gobble up a confirmed town role ( KoD and Zinger claimed it for him), not realizing that doing so would also undermine their ultimate case on me.

Zinger, if you are right about locked players being immune to mafia, it's not necessarily Lylo.
But we should play as if it definitely was of course.

So Skystone, you were constantly defending your position and were arguing about why you are town, but who are your suspects?
Zinger seems really unlikely.

It is unfortunate that Arrgh wasn't scum; however, the way the votes flew around is an indication of something. I'm more confident in Zinger being town, but I am not confident in Skystone being mafia. It is possible, sure, but I believe hitting elsewhere is the more advisable move.

I'm skeptical now that you aren't scum. I offered you the chance to lynch your oldest scum read – the reason why you allege to suspect me – and you didn't take it until your vote didn't matter. You wanted Tevish alive; you knew that he wouldn't flip the way you claimed.

Plus, your argument holds water only if all three scum are currently online. You would only assume as much if either a) you know that they are, or b) you're skirting around the facts in order to implicate me. You can't just vote for me then claim a mere half hour later that I'm scum because mafia hasn't triple-bussed me.

To that extent, there has to be scum inside of Dusky, Dark, and CL.

Tevish, being the NK, was a target for lynch yesterday mostlybduebtobSkystone wanting to self pres. I can't fault him for that, but Dusky is strictlybinvested in Skystone. That aside, Dark was already on Tevish.

Meanwhile we have Rubik still gone, and CL still lurking in left field.

@Skystone: Zinger wants you dead. Obviously. If he was mafia, he could have killed you night 1 after you announced your unlocked status. It wouldn't have been suspicious at that point. In fact it would have proven his point that the status should be secret.

"Were"? I did venture suspects yesterday. I even bothered to explain my cases on them.

I'm skeptical of Zinger, for one. I've mentioned a few reasons, but I'd also like to add the fact that, for all of his earlier pro-KoD fervor (including calling me scummy once for not responding to his soft-confirm of the same!), he's far too willing now to tack KoD on as a scapegoat for third scum position.

I also agree with KoD that scum is likely in CL/Darkstar (though I happen to think it's just these two, not you).

The most damning thing against you, Sky, is that Dusky and KoD are smart enough to recognize the danger you possessed if you weren't already on their team. Like, you have an ability where you win ties. Meaning, toDay is our LAST CHANCE to lynch you no matter what happens. So, that means KoD and Dusky are both SO CONFIDENT THAT YOU ARE TOWN THAT THEY ARE WILLING TO GAMBLE THE ENTIRE GAME ON IT.

Which is dumb. Only I can be that irrationally confident about things.
