I feel like Aaarrrgh is trying too hard to push me here, it feels like it doesn't come from a sincere place.

Regardless of his alignment, a wagon on you is basically his only hope for survival, since I've made it clear that I consider Lunch to be essentially clean based on his mod-confirmed actions. After how the last day fell out I won't support a CL Lynch, and if CL performs rational actions he likely won't support my lynch: this is because if either of us were scum, we could have saved KoD and claimed a win, so our actions would have, as scum, been the equivalent of not missing but discarding lethal on board.

An interesting note is that with your return, we are NOT strictly in LyLo today: we're in a 3-1 MyLo situation; we could lynch Naga or NL, pass into night, and come out in 2-1 LyLo. That said, what does that really get us? It's pretty clear that if such a thing happens, either I or CL die in the night, putting us right back to it being between you and Aaarrrgh with the survivor of me or CL to basically decide the outcome. We remove a tiny speck of ambiguity in the form of Naga, but I'm not sure that's worth it to prolong things.

Tevish pretty much summed it up there, but I'll reiterate from my perspective. Under the (now basically mod confirmed) assumption that Naga is a non-entity, as well as the assumption that I am town, the only possibilities are as follows:

1. Scum Tevish jumped from a 100% safe wagon onto bussing his partner late in the day, singlehandedly jeopardizing a scum win. This seems incredibly unlikely, and if Tevish is scum he deserves to win.

2. Scum CL worked hard to bus his partner, although his vote ended up not counting. We have mod confirmation that he attempted to place that vote, though. CL definitely strikes me as more likely than Tevish to throw his partner under the bus. However considering that both he and Sky seemed equally fine with Tevish or KoD, and CL was the one who first signalled KoD as the final target, CL gets major town points.

3. Scum Rubik was largely inactive (perhaps with valid reason) and let KoD carry the game for the most part. After KoD's death he stepped back into the game and immediately started to muddy the waters by claiming that inactivity is not an antitown playstyle, while still not actually contributing to the game in a meaningful way.

Which one would you push for?

Sounds like motivation to not be inactive if you're scum then. :Shrugs:

It's motivation to be inactive as town, which is an unfortunate side effect.

I mean inactive town can't lynch scum and thus can't win the game so it doesn't seem much like a winning strategy to me. :Shrugs:

You're misrepresentating my argument. I'm not saying that inactivity is in general a good town strategy, but it can be an effective alibi in our specific situation.

If I were scum, I could have just continued to lurk, because doing so would have increased my chances of survival and given me a similar alibi to Naga. I didn't do that, however, because I recognized that doing so would hurt town to a significant degree.

I've already stated my intent to vote Rubik. There's still a possibility that CL is the impostor, but Rubik seems more likely.

Having a supposed alibi and being motivated to act in a certain manner are not the same argument though. You said town would be motivated to be inactive to create a supposed alibi and I pointed out the inherent flaw in that strategy.

Inactivity isn't a good strategy in general, but Naga's best play in this situation is probably continued inactivity regardless of alignment.

@JD: can we get confirmation that Naga is still in beach of the inactivity rule?

That means Naga could theoretically still be scum. That's not good. In that case, considering Rubik is now active, I might prefer the Naga lynch after all. It is better to remove ambiguity if possible. Naga becoming active in scum chat sometime during D3 could also explain why KoD didn't vote.

@ Tevish
Aarrgh said he was sorry and he has a no lie policy. I mean that's pretty strong evidence.
