First things first: I am in no way familiar with the Touhou flavor.
I know it's a bullet hell game, and I've played a single game in the series.
I know Sakuya Izayoi because she is a famous character.
I know the basic, basic premice of Double because I did some shallow research two days into this game.
I have NO idea how the other characters have anything to do with anything in this game.

As far as I was concerned, Zinger had only stated that he had to be alive for HIM to win.
I had long since concluded that his survival had nothing to do with the auto wincon in itself.
And while Numbers had repeatedly mentioned how Zinger was town, I never really understood the logic behind it.
Case in point, the place where you quote him on it; I don't see how that should naturally make him town.
Your own quote regarding Zinger had no logic behind it. It assumes Zinger town, and I hadn't assumed as such.
Compounded with my lack of flavor knowledge, even if you had said to my face that Zinger was an Inchling, it wouldn't have registered with me.

As for what Zinger himself was saying about wanting to get to D5 with 4 town, the practicality didn't really register with me, either.
I was following Numbers' logic on this one. Lynching now or later made no difference with regards to achieving the wincon.
I hadn't considered that it would be important to have a way out when thigs went awry, and I thought we still had the auto wincon anyway.
I only realized toDay that even with the auto wincon, it puts us in a precarious position.

As of yesterDay, all three of you looked like scum to me. The paranoia of playing a mafia game, eh?
I believed only that I could only trust Fel to be town because scum would not want to see Zinger flip if he was town -
because then the town can be 100% sure that there is an auto win-con they can fulfill by nolynching.

Well, now I feel dumb and ashamed. Of course Zinger could simply point this post instead of getting overly defensive, but I can't really take this burden of me. Had I catched this earlier, I would probably have taken a different course of action. Too bad I didn't do my job well. Sorry Town

I was going to start the day saying that I'm more inclined to believe in the NL plan, but since I now know that is not a possibility anymore, I'll need to start over.

I'm ready to drop my case on Squinty. The fact that he didn't use his ability anymore gives me a good indication that he's telling the truth.

We also need to hear more from our lurkers. How about sharing some thoughts, Squinty, Confused and Pariah?

I couldn't target Numbers or myself, and I had no one in mind to freeze.

Though now I'm kind of kicking myself for revealing last night's target since that's just another safe target for scum.

I didn't get the same cold message, but it seems with Scarlet being busy he simply forgot.



I targeted Felbatista because he and confused are the only two people that I don't know anything about. Squinty is town vig. The fact that he said his alignment was Gensokyo instead of town pretty much sealed it early on. That and the fact we haven't had another double NK also helps prove he is what he said he is, so no need to confirm his identity. Pariah's identity was told by Garren, wiki confirmed their two characters are part of a grassroots network. Pariah's identity was then reconfirmed when 15377 claimed. Storyteller's identity was confirmed when I got the cold message after targeting 15377.

Leaving Felbatista and Confused. One pushed for a vote on Zinger "to prove his info". The other let the vote go by without voting. I chose to target the one that took action first.

Thought #1:

I've been very busy in home life, and really sorry I haven't been paying more attention. I had issues getting on NGA for a bit, and by then I felt really really lost in the game.

Thought #2:

I was told using my ability would be a bad plan, so I stopped.

Thought #3:

I even lost track of who was alive and dead. I know it's probably updated on the main page, but man I just feel kinda lost in everything.

Thought #4:

I really like the Publix Blueberry Cobbler ice cream, it's too bad it's a limited edition flavor.

Thought #5:

In retrospect, Zinger's comments made more sense, but his general attitude about revealing how it worked made him so damn hard to trust as town. I know he was avoiding getting targeted himself, but man, he did not make things easy to figure out.

Thought #6:

So, it looks like felbatista, Popular Pariah, seTiny, Confused, storyteller and myself are the ones left alive, and we are assuming we have 2 more scum to hunt down, correct? If I had to put my own guesses out there, seTiny has felt the most like scum to me, but I recall little from Popular Pariah and less than some of the others.

Busy with school, busy with Chinese New Year. I look at the thread every now and then but that's about it. I am not gonna look at s_e, since he has a high chance of being town, unless he is really a serial killer all along. I remember posting a chart about how confirming Zinger's alignment isn't gonna help that much with decision making. Also, Zinger's ability. Looking at Story and fel. Something about role blockers. Some random theory about Se and Story collaborating.

We are at 4/2. Which means we cannot mislynch today. We can no lynch, but that would put us at 3/2 going into day 5 assuming the NK goes through. If we do not have a clear scum target this would narrow down the choices by one. However it puts the mafia in control of day 5. Scum would be the ideal lynch, but if we get to the deadline with no clear target a no lynch would give us another day.

My reasoning for voting him was to save zinger.

Did you believe him to be scum, or were you simply trying to save zinger?
