Yeah I'm smelling Rag/CL Scum team.

There is no reason to swing for Naga with the mod snapping at his heels. I could almost understand going for Rubik since he came out of his hole when poked.

I'm skeptical being prodded will cause naga to become active. I imagine he has reasons he's not active and that those reasons won't change simply because JD wants him to be more active, and JD has basically confirmed he won't be modkilled. In lieu of any strong scumreads it makes sense to go after lurkers, both because in the presence of town reads they're more likely to be scum and because even as town their death is less harmful than the death of a more active townie.

Even if you don't agree with a lurker lynch they're very commonly supported by town so it should be NAI.

@Rag, tevish handled the first question. As for the second, there are only imposters and crewmate in the game.

I'm going to bed now, so I'll have to commit now. My gut tells me to vote Rag (which might be because I'm currently biased to follow KoD and Zinger, but I genuinely think it's the best lynch available right now). So I'm locking that in and hoping to see the rest of you on the other side.

Rubik responding makes him less desirable. If election woes are indeed responsible for his inactivity, then we ought to expect a remedy. If he returns to the bosom of town, then town is benefited (though Rubik may not be...); and if he does not return, then we can lynch him as a dirty, dirty liar.

I myself will gun for Naga, thereby completing the technically impossible scum triumvirate.

oh also in case i die you might want to consider doing a massclaim before going into LyLo because it either lowers your PoE or forces scum to commit to a lie that will ideally be caught before you go into LyLo, thus giving you a lynch during LyLo

I dedicated my vote to Rag.

We're going to light the night sky of Rome up with fires for Rag.

That's more like it. With seven votes Black has been ejected. Good job on screwing that up though.

Rag: Tevish, Zinger, Aaarrrgh, KoD
Naga: Rag, CL, Sky

^Rag just chillin in space wondering if KoD will realize fire don't burn in space

This is going the opposite of well...Lime is dead. Let's try this thing again. Maybe eject an Imposter this time?

Zinger is dead.
Discussion will last 72 hours.

So the text wasn't exactly telling but I'm interpreting it as "Rag was not an imposter". Which is a surprise.

Zinger's not a surprise hit; scum can't let confirmed town exist.

We are 5-2. In the event of a mislynch, tomorrow will be 3-2 LyLo.

If Naga isn't force-replaced or modkilled, which I'm kind of shocked wasn't a thing, we literally cannot allow him to live to the next day, since if it's 2-2-Naga in LyLo, town loses. Because of that, I will lock my vote in on naga as close to deadline as possible if he does not show and explain himself before then. Knowing this, I think it's reasonable to discuss who other than naga would be a preferred lynch, knowing that Naga is a potentially essential lynch.

I agree that Naga can't make it to LyLo if he's to remain inactive.

Outside of Naga, I'm still highly suspicious of Skystone. Rag's death, though incorrect for being an impostor, is not telling of Skystone's alignment. Skystone still made a flawed push for Zinger. Skystone still sided with Rag's case on me. Perhaps Rag fell for the bait that was Amber's death into pursuing me. After all, Skystone did plant the seed for the meme with his opening post.

I'll have to revist some in the thread since we're still looking at two impostors.

Listen, this isn't going to end well for all of us if the impostors are not gotten before they got us.

Also, cider is delicious.

See, I told you I'm not good at reads. Ugh. At this point I'm fairly certain that one of Sky and KoD is scum, but I have no clue who. Or they are both innocent and I'm accidentally being the third impostor, considering my track record so far this game. I'm going to pick apart the vote counts later today and are if we can make any connections.

Totally down for Naga lynch today, though.

If Naga is mod-killed, today becomes LyLo. Ergo, anyone pro-town should want them alive.

As for lynching Naga, it does guarantee that Day 4 is LyLo. But that in itself isn't much of a benefit for town. The point is to win the game, not to die as slowly as possible as scum pick us off. Thus, while we risk LyLo today if we choose to try to lynch actual mafia, we do so with a 5-2 advantage, which means that town can lynch without perfect consensus. Note that Rubik is also MIA, and likewise 'ought' to either be force-replaced or mod-killed. Thus, in proposing your plan, you are a) supposing that Rubik shows up, and b) supposing that Rubik shows up informed enough, despite missing most of the game, to make the right decision with his deciding vote. You're banking it all on the other lurker showing up.

Whereas, if we try to lynch today, we not only guarantee that we have enough town, but we also preserve the non-zero chance that Naga shows up -- in which case we get to lynch again.

@Jay: Can you ping Naga on Discord or something?

You never proposed your own candidate(s). Who would you find a good lynch, and on what grounds?
