"Fine ya' berk, but don't think I'll forget your filthy face when trouble starts," Garemello growls in a lowered voice, hand over at least part of his mouth.

His eyes turn to where each of his co-workers on the job are. Not one was talking to the lady, either going into the crown or lounging about. Seeing that he'd have to handle this himself he looked to where she was and if she was still there.

The young women is indeed still in the bar. She has retreated to a corner booth, seemingly trying to avoid Seija and Sparrow's attempts to talk to the assembled patrons.

Hexion took the key and went about her way. If she had heard Sparrow's attempt at being playful, she didn't indicate as such in any way.
As she moved casually past the other patrons the bar, Hexion nonetheless took note of the various conversations about the bar.

"You've seemed nervous since we've arrived. Is there something on your mind that you'd like to voice? And don't tell me you looking between us and the door is nothing," Garemello said approaching the corner in attempt to start a conversation.

If Garemello had intended to set the woman at ease then his approach was somewhat flawed - seven foot of lizardman baring down on a berk isn't exactly the most relaxing experience at the best of times. "It's nothing really. I just wanted to see who would come and answer Grum's call." She looks down for a few seconds, fidgeting with a long empty glass, before sighing and standing up. "It's been a long day and I should be leaving. Can I pass?" She looks over the lizardman who now blocks most of the walkway as she asks her question.

Garemello steps aside to let her pass, and plants his head into the nearest wall.

Sparrow trots by Garemello while weaving through the crowd on Ripper. He looks up and rolls his eyes, "Smoooooth."

After finding out all he is able, he gathers up his animal companions and heads up to the rooms they were given. He unlocks the door and heads in, leaving the door unlocked in case anyone else decides to bunk down with him. Sparrow hops down off of Ripper and opens up a bag on Fang's side, producing a bit more meat for everyone and they all eat for a minute. Then he takes out his waterskin and a small bowl and pours some of it out for him companions to let them drink while he takes his drink straight from the waterskin.

After making the rounds of the room, Seija heads up to the rooms, hoping to talk with someone else in relative privacy, but not urgently enough to make a scene of it.

Sparrow unpacks his belongings in a corner of the room away from the beds. He never was used to sleeping on a bed and was much more accustomed to bunking down with his companions, keeping each other warm.

For those heading upstairs;

The room you enter is rather sparsely furnished - you get the impression that the Whispered Word doesn't exactly get nobility coming through. Still it seems comfortable enough. The room contains three beds (two against the left wall and a single across from the door) each with a small chest at its base. Next to the single bed is a small writing desk and to your right, behind a wooden divider, sits a metal tub. Your not sure when someone took the time to fill it but a light steam drifts from the surface. A single window and a number of candles provide illumination.

After sharing in a few more drinks and asking for a few reluctant rumors Garamello turned in heading to his room and looking for an unclaimed bed. "We can compare notes before first patrol. For now rest,"

Ram enters the room. "There is more here then is immediately obvious. I would propose we do a patrol now; he said some of the troublemakers only act after dark. Perhaps we could follow the troublemakers back to a lair."

(assuming Ram is in the same room Sparrow is in)

Sparrow looks up at Ram's words. "If you'll be so kind as to take the first watch for two hours, I'll take the remainder of the evening," he replies, tapping his ring. "After that, I won't need to be relieved and the rest of you can sleep as much as you need." He begins moving his things into a makeshift next to rest inside of on the floor, traveling has left him perfectly fine with catching little sleep in new areas that are less than accommodating. In fact, all the niceties of this Inn were making him feel a little uncomfortable, almost like he was being kept more than being on a job.

Satisfied with all she had heard in the tavern, Hexion began to make her way to their rooms when she saw her lizardfolk "companion" approach a woman in a corner of the tavern.
Even from afar, she could see that the girl was scared of the lizardman. She wondered for a moment if she should go lend a hand... but she soon decided it was not worth her time, and continued on her way.

Staggering out of bed, tail dragging, and with a mild headache, Garamello made his way to the bar for his morning meal. "Yeah, haven't forgotten," He took a seat Grabbing some bread, cheese, porridge, and a little of the weak alcohol before sitting down near Sparrow.

"You're up early," he somewhat growled, little jealous of the fact he seemed to be free of sleeps constraints.

"Yes, I've been awake for about eight hours now, even introduced Ripper to some of the local color as they tried to pick my pockets," replies Sparrow. He grabs up some of the food and begins to munch on it thoughtfully. "The streets are surprisingly quiet, almost like Sheyln was watching over me, or almost as though some higher power wished for me not to get in to too much trouble on my own. Either way, I did our job for us last night."
