if we want to develop a system whereby we vote (more) semi-anonymously we can track votes in-thread and then have everyone submit their votes to monster at a similar time. It discourages nader voting (for people who want to remain anonymous) but other than that it provides some anomnity while allowing us to maintain some of the degree of information we'd normally be able to maintain by voting. Its not clear who that information would benefit though, since we all presumably have seperate wincons.

because i'm bored and it might work to my advantage i'll claim now that i can only use my ability on player's who's auras i know. Its unclear to me exactly what an aura is but it seems that at the very least people start with the aura associated with their monster's colour. In other words, assuming I'm not lynched today I'll probably be culting KoD tonight and guessing that he has a red aura.

Well, that's sad because I want to be culted but I don't have an aura.

There's a thing I can do to get an aura, but I haven't quite figured out how it works yet.

I would be in favor of a system like this if I knew there was a point in coordinating. Since it is D1, and I don't even know how many different factions there are in the game (but presumably roughly as many as there are players), I think I would prefer votes to be semi-anonymous, at least today.

I'm not. I think this plan is dumb and unnecessary and borderline maybe even some kind of distraction tactic to get the rest of us to focus on this silly plan rather than pay attention to everything else going on.

The votes are, for the most part, anonymous right now. Just hide your vote if you want to hide your vote. We don't need to waste part of the Day coming up with a system to coordinate voting or some ****. Just vote without letting those in the thread know you're planning to vote. I don't see how it's that hard. If Purple voted someone right now, out of the blue without any other person voting, we'd still have no more idea who purple was than if they voted along with everyone else later on; not unless purple advertised themselves by making a big stink towards whoever they vote for in the thread.

If you want to shroud your vote in extra secrecy, just be opportunistic like the Red Monster did and vote for someone who someone else is making a big stink about in thread so as to make it look like they did it and not you.

I kind of agree with Zinger here, we put in votes through pm when we feel like it, or whatever. I also agree with the Rag lynch ATM. Killing off a cult before they can cult seems like a good thing.

Thinking if KoD isn't red blowing smoke he might be a clear/invisible lil' monster ("White" as discussed before, with Gray holding the silver Chaos Emerald) and voteless at least until he gets a color.

Tevish either completely missed that the Mod outright called Rag's cult threats "fictitious", or he chose to ignore it. I think Tevish is usually rather perceptive, so I'm going to assume it is the latter. Who would have cause to perpetuate a lie that Rag is the (now Mod-confirmed) Cult Leader? Why, the Cult Leader, that's who. Tevish is Cult Leader, confirmed? Probably. We should lynch Tevish toDay.



Lunch has a killing role. I repeat, Lunch has a killing role. If there wasn't a Cult Leader to find and hang toDay before it gets out of hand, I'd advocate for lynching Lunch on this basis alone.
