Unfortunately, no, an acrobatics check to dodge a trap doesn't work. That's the purpose of your Reflex defence, after all. If it makes you feel better though, I added a +2 circumstance bonus to your Reflex before rolling the pits attack roll against you, since you were expecting it to happen at some point. You can, however, make a saving throw against the -2 penalty to saving throws that is still afflicting your BEFORE making the saving throw against the ongoing 5 poison damage, if you like.

It isn't long before you have indeed, as expected, discovered another apparent pit trap, right in the middle of the hallway (squares O&P 21+22).

From now on, Thibor will be even more cautious. He will proceed the same way triple checking every square, only moving after the third time he checked it.

Nature (Poison's Knowledge):

You stave off the poison. Examining the oil yields few results, as poisons are not very easy to identify. You can tell it is a mundane poisonous oil that is similar in properties to Greenblood Oil, though not identical. There is a minor magical aura that permeates the liquid, though you doubt it relates to the poison itself. More likely, the magical aura is a result of some type of permanence spell to keep the oil from losing its potency over the years it no doubt lay in wait for you to be impaled on it.

Upon closer inspection it is clear that this fresco is depicting a torture chamber. The predominant image of this section is that of an iron door confining a demon from which the torture chamber victims cower in fear. You get an eerie feeling staring into the demon's eyes, but beyond that you find nothing unusual about this particular fresco.
