I am not lurking. My phone broke the other day, severely limiting my access capabilities until Sunday when I should be able to get it fixed maybe.

It is Day 2. We have stuff to go on. Quite a bit of stuff. We should NOT be playing a lynch all lurkers game at this point. And to be clear, even if we were to entiertain the idea of lynching someone for being a lurker right now, posting seldomly but still following the thread and providing opinions does NOT constitute a lurker. We are not going to lynch someone for being the "closest thing we have to a lurker," that only would help the wolf form an easy bandwagon based on nothing at all. I would maybe entertain the idea of lynching a lurker if we had one, but even the least active members of this game are contributing at this point.

Neo I would like you to target someone other than Niklor tonight. I don't want you to say who tou picked or what result you get, I just want you to say, based on what you've seen Night 1 and how it compares/contrasts from Night 2, if you believe we can trust your results or not. Obviously if you learn that x-player targeted someone who wound up dead, you should tell us that.

Actually Zinger, as far as post counts go you and Fred are the lowest compared to everyone else. That, in and of itself, qualifies as lurking.

And no one said anything about doing a lurker lynch; least of all me. *Points to where his vote is at the moment.* Fact is, you and Fred are lurkers compared to everyone else. You guys post less than everyone else regardless of whatever reasons you guys may have. There's no arguing against that.

Take Fred for instance. He was out of town for a while. Ok, sure. Then he comes back and makes one post. Then he makes another post at my prodding (same as you did when I asked). He can definitely post more. He just doesn't. Same with you. You just don't -- unless you feel the need to.

Unlike Fred, though, you've posted more but usually after having been mentioned. Like your recent little outburst about a lurker lynch; and all because I mentioned you and Fred as being lurkers. For shame on you for overreacting. Your reaction makes you suspect in my eyes just for that.

Lynching lurkers with 1 scum left is a lot less dangerous than lynching lurkers with 2 or 3 scum because it's harder for them to manipulate the vote. That said, lurking in and of itself can be considered scummy depending on context so lynching someone for lurking can be situationally useful as long as you don't just perpetually lynch lurkers.

I might honestly prefer that the guardsman target lurkier players so the wolf is forced to choose between attacking confirmed townies or active unconfirmed players.

Unless it appears that some important topic of discussion is brought up, I will also agree we should hold off triggering the extension..

On the matter of lurking, a player having fewer posts than another is not a brilliant method for determining whether someone is lurking or not.

BTW, Rubik, who would you wager is scum? I'm torn between KoD and Lilan personally.

Lilan is probably town because he's not lurking and historically Lilan always lurks as scum. He could be playing atypically, though.

I don't want to give too many of my impressions because I don't want the wolf to conveniently use them as a springboard to pin easy lynches on people.

I'm busy as sin KoD, I'd like to get a better post out there, but in the meantime if you ask me a question of course I'll answer, but the lurking is just something you're going to have to deal with right now. If you want to lynch me for it its whatever, but when I have the chance I'll post, you know I will.

I have no particular question for you at this time.

Early into deliberations of the day one brave citizen came forward. "Good people. I beseech you, listen to me now. I witnessed the wolf last night. He attacked me. But I was able to escape. I don't know how. But I feel his power surging through me. The stranger is right in that there lies a greater threat to us all. I wish I could do more to help, but I don't trust myself through the night. Please do not let me loose control of myself."

The town fell silent at this. There wasn't much to deliberate there. The doubters couldn't fathom arguments that would bring a man to step forward and condemn himself to death. The rest just stood in shock, having their worst fears confirmed in this man's words.

"Well then. I suppose that decides things for the day." Said the elder. "But perhaps we should make this quick, as opposed to yesterday's tragedy."

The stranger nodded. He quickly approached the man while pulling the silver blade from it's sheath. With one quick plunge, he lodged the dagger into the man's heart. He had just one moment's breath before his eyes went dark and the man was dead.

The elder looked to the sky. "I see the sun is setting on us once again. I suggest we make haste for our homes and take care of ourselves for the night."

It is now Night 2. You have 48 hours to send in your roles.

As the sun rose overhead the town gathered together again. But this time they were short one number. Splintering off into the groups the towns folk made a quick search of the village. That's when the body was discovered. Mangled and torn, flesh piled on flesh. Bone lay nearby picked clean, teeth marks itching into the bone, a clear indication of a forceful jaw. It was a good thing the town had met before breakfast as many retched at the sight of the remains, the good being that they didn't create a larger mess to clean up since their stomachs were still empty...

Zinger is dead. It is now day. Five days and all that jazz.

Seems good to me.

Well...this seems like a double-edged sword.

I got a cryptic message back saying that I drank alot, but that I'm sure that something happened, either someone left the house that I was watching or came to it...

I didn't target Zinger. The hunter didn't shoot. So, the odds are I either targeted the doctor or the wolf, right?

Clearly, I'm going to say who I targeted, I just want to give it a day or two, you know, to see what happens.
