"Takin' a shortcut and late already... But my pap's bit. Over that way it must've rolled," Norston says crawling on his hands and knees trying to find the one coin as if it was a precious family heirloom.

Lomendil looked at him and grumbled:

As he talked, he slowly kept pace with him as he headed around towards row of trees planning to take cover behind them.

The dwarf hustled after the elf suddenly calling for the elf to wait for him and following along. Behind the trees his worry turned to a smile. "Well, we likely pissed a few someone's off. Let's hope this is worth the trouble," Norston said quietly to the elf. "Better make off before he makes a big stink,"

Rather than responding, Lomendil nodded and hurried towards the fence. He would have liked to search the house but that would have to wait for a later time. As he ran he elected to wait until he had climbed over the fence before he removed his mask.

Lomendil waited until they reached an out of the way area and then turned to the other as he pulled out the list:

He is then going to read the list and try and understand who and what it is referring to.

6 pounds flour
2 cases of Moonshine wine

We went through all of this for a grocery list?

Lomendil sounded a little incredulous as he struggled to process what had just happened. He seemed to struggle with himself then sighed:

So should we chalk this one up to experience and move on to the alternative target?

"Groceries... Yeah, let's get out of here and let someone else take the rap as moon-addled pickpockets," Norston said with a light smile on his face. At least the man hadn't noticed their theft. One small thing they could be thankful for. That and not being subjected to the frustrated lashing out of a head housekeeper.

I don't know if now is the best time to try and enter. We could try to slip in under cover of these guys, but I feel that might end poorly.

As he focused on sending his thoughts, Lomendil looked at the building while trying to come up with a good excuse for entry. He also turned his back to the wall and guiltily removed his mask. He needed to get better at remembering when he was and was not wearing it.

Can't say I feel different. Someone's bound to notice us around here. Need a new set of clothes and a wig for my bald head just to make our presense less obvious... Wish I had a fishing pole. Norston thought, the last tidbit a start of another series of thoughts.

Hmph... Maybe I'm exaggerating things. Norston thought. He made sure his hammer was secured in the strap hidden in his cloak. "...Umm, try it, but don't draw too much attention?"

Lomendil waited for a moment to see where and how the others were entering and then walked straight forwards towards the building and attempted to mingle with the others to enter the building.
