@Amber: Tevish's countdown is 4 days away. Why bother being concerned when we don't know anything else about it and it isn't close? You're welcome to actually inquire about it to him as opposed to waving your hands over it.
it's not anything we'd expect to see normally, and i wasn't sure if anyone else had pointed it out
@tevish anything you can tell us about the countdown or
I'm counting down to the deadline as given by the mod, that's all. The lynch deadline, to be specific; CS deadline was 24 hours earlier. I might be 1 hour off thanks to Daylight Savings Time
@KoD: I'm not particularly wedded (pun intended) to voting Funnier towards the Crystal Skeleton date, but I wanted a competing CS-Wagon to Rubik's and knew funnier had at least one vote. Plus, he hadn't really tripped any scummy feelings for me. Far too early to say he really "reads as town" especially when I don't know his playstyle, but close enough for present CS-voting needs

Having quickly read over the last few pages, I'm very tempted to jump on the HW wagon. It honestly baffles me that someone in an online mafia game, which is nothing but reading, and is best solved by careful reading, would voice a disinterest in reading and hostility to writing.
Players should explain their reads and their reasoning in detail. That way, we can go back and analyze those details in the light of new developments. Single sentence soundbite posts aren't nearly as useful for town because they don't give us half as much insignt into the thoughts and feelings of the poster involved. They don't cause scum to have to find a plausible excuse for their behavior, don't give us material for cross-examination, don't allow us to find half as many contradictions or fallacies... you get the idea. They're better than lurking, but more should be encouraged, not discouraged.
