again, I'm really wary of assuming that Zinger made really obvious flavor cues on who Dante and Lucifer are. like, that doesn't mean Neo isn't Dante, but I don't think it's a good idea to infer that from obvious role mechanics.

At the same time it's not glaringly obvious that Lucifer's ability would be a cancellation ability. It could be an empowering ability, as in the circle effects are doubled.

my point is that, if it's an ability that everyone will notice without you claiming it, it's probably best to ignore in alignment speculation. it doesn't mean that Zinger would never put it on an important role, but you find yourself down the rabbit hole of outguessing the mod way too quickly for it to be useful.

Except you know that if you are infernal like you claim, they do mesh with others. How many others might be a question, but there being others is not. The only way your motives wouldn't mesh with others is if you were comedy aligned. So going around shouting that your motives may or may not align with others means exactly squat.

As for what you've claimed your motives to be, I must have forgotten that nobody ever lies in mafia ever. Oh wait, they do. So I'll be basing my evaluation of you upon your actions, not your words. As I went over before that you conveniently ignored, none of your actions speak towards you being a team player. Last canto you didn't try to test your hypothesis before acting upon it. When you did run a "test" you simply asked people to pile on Razor for reasons unrelated to Razor's actions, your own observations, or circle 6. This doesn't smack of trying to figure things out or acting towards the end of a greater alignment victory. This canto hasn't been much different. You jumped right back on Razor then went on OMGUS defensive. Again, behavior that reads as self serving rather than team play.

On the subject of Luci powers, I wouldn't venture to guess in any direction. Looking at infernal as town, it's easy to justify giving him traditional boon powers, but considering he's still flavorfully "evil" it's easy to justify giving him destructive powers as well. Luci probably won't be defined by his powers. Same goes for Dante.

NeoSilk's vote counted double for me? It's like he is on circle five too, but that's not right because his vote on numbers counted double too... UGH this is so confusing. Wait, but he doesn't accrue ghost votes?
Maybe his ability is that he has a different circle's ability affect him? I'm lost on that, but that explains why his vote against razorborne didn't get him a ghost vote.

About the lucifer/dante debate... What I'm honestly thinking is that the teams were thought out, and then one person on each side was given that title. And, obviously, each team's goal was to lynch that player. That seems like one of the most logical ways to handle that kind of setup.

What we can glean from the last vote count is that Neo isn't getting a bonus off of my locale, as the lot of you can confirm I'm not in six. We know that he isn't getting the normal circle effect that soup, razor, and alt are getting. So it's probably the effect isn't strictly circle based. This means role. Now we could assume somebody juiced Neo, but then we would have to assume that somebody chose to boost Neo for whatever reason, we would also have to assume that not only does this juice remove the negative effect of the circle, but also apply a positive one to it as well. Alternatively we can just assume that Neo's role is responsible for the effect. His behavior would reflect this assumption, namely his rash voting at the beginning of the canto.

Add to that he side steps each time I bring up his lack of sixth tier testing last canto and his asking for pile ons on razor at the end of day and I think we have a ringer for my vote.

All I'm asking is, when I get lynched, and flip Inferno, that you all take a closer look at numbers.
And, since I checked, and I can claim my rolename, in a last grasp effort...I'm Phlegyas. The son of Ares, condemned to the 5th circle of hell. Since that is my home (as I claimed) my decision to move to circle 6 was based on the fact that I wanted to get to 5, since it's the only circle that I knew what the ability was. Since i couldn't move there in one move, I had to stop at 6.



Now I'm sure you're trolling me. I was not in 6th tier last canto. I was in 8. So, it's not like I could have tested 6th, eh?

The fact that so many people want to lynch me, while I've actually done some testing, and provided information really makes me wonder who really wants to win this game. People seem to be jumping to numbers while he's provided absolutely no information nor help, outside of condemning me. Again, at this point, I doubt I can change anyone's mind, but, when I flip Inferno, and when you see that all information revealed in my death matches exactly what I've said, I'll hope my death is not in vain.

Yes you could, and that's the point. As I said earlier, you observed an effect on Razor and fashioned a theory on it. With Soup in circle 6 yesterday you could have asked him to vote for somebody else to see if the effect was likely circle wide, as many people were doing with other circles, but you didn't. You made no effort.

@Neosilk: 15377 was my interest this canto because he's been quiet with his information. But you have some interesting things going on as well.
- You can move at least two spaces.
- You are not affected by circle 6. Circle 8 is an unknown at this point
- For some reason you are getting a double vote on altimis and 15377, but not razorborne. It appears it isn't related to 15377's circle. Altimis is in circle 6 so not his circle either.

That's quite a few abilities.

My apologies. I have been keeping up to date with things I just haven't had a whole lot to say that is relevant. For what it's worth I agree with the current assessment on Neosilk. I know we haven't got a huge amount of information to go on regarding how many abilities a persons tole is supposed to give them (at the moment I only know 1 guys role) but I agree that he seems to be enjoying far too many benefits to just be a random inferno guy. If nothing else the fact that he seems to be manipulating votes makes me worried - Not sure how he's doing it but I'd rather not have a power like that running around unchecked.

If I were claiming a fake name, wouldn't I pick one that doesn't have any Dante flavor with it? Again, at this point, it's just more info that I'm putting out there so if/when I get lynched, there's a clear paper trail showing that I was telling the truth. Yes, I understand that no one will believe me while I'm alive, and, maybe I've played this wrong, but, having no idea at the start really threw me off.
