Why are you equating to walking on sunshine to excited?

That is, is being happy the same as being excited to you?

Actually scratch that.

Depending on perspective you can look at our situation in a multitude of ways. The common starting point for all of these perspectives is Monster flipped as town. If Monster flips as scum, then everything else is moot; however, if Monster is town, then we cascade into these alternatives.

For me, personally, despite my paranoia, Skystone still seems the most likely to be town in all seriousness. Barring a situation where Zinger AND Skystone were out to bus each other, Zinger could have left Skystone alone after the first vote pile. Zinger chose to revote Skystone later though which, to me, indicates that Skystone more than likely isn't scum. After all, Zinger didn't have to push with me on my case. He could have gone elsewhere.

I'd apply the same kind of logic to Arrgh as well. Arrgh was in a position to hammer Skystone. Alternatively, he didn't have to vote Zinger. He could have voted me with JD. Or he could have abstained. Instead he chose to tie the wagons. I mentioned this point in a previous post, but this move doesn't exactly give Arrgh solid town pants. It's not like Arrgh completely sused out Zinger. All he did was leave it up to JD or HW. Given his nature, I'd expect a scum Arrgh to choose a much safer play as opposed to that.

With Dusky, we'll get an answer about her alignment if Monster flips town (per Dusky's ability). Honestly Dusky will be resolved either way. Vote-wise (regarding placement) there could have been a little reason to be sus (given how early the placement was), but, again, given her claim there is no way we won't find out Dusky's alignment.*


So, Dusky, you've got little to be worried about because both Skystone and I are around. One was the vote target of a known mafia player, and the other is a claimed doc. I'd say you've got similar odds of survival should you come up confirmed by your ability (and that's assuming you're not lying about your ability in some fashion as mafia).



*If HW is meddling in the game by doing something for the mafia after all the progress that has been made, then it'll require reassessment. I've been blindsided before so I'm used to dancing.

Because the energy transfer from walking on said sunshine will excite the atoms that serve to compose your existence. Obviously.

@KoD: I was actually referring to me not surviving the wait. I feel like we've been waiting for years, and I'm pretty old.

However, I agree with your assessment. Unless the snazzy new ability is a role-block or instant day kill.

Whatever it is, we should be grateful. I am feeble, Aaarrrgh is an old cat, and you are snoozing. We need someone to swing the axe.

My answer, based on what's been said by you, is that we're all excited. After all, our atoms continuously move do they not? Even if you're not walking on sunshine.

So, in essence, not only am I excited, but you are as well.

As we've already established, my supreme tranquility prevents the excitation of my atoms. Ergo, because roasting obtains via the transfer of heat into the body, I am immune to the functional truth of cooking.

But I might still be enraged.

I wouldn't say supreme tranquility. More like tranquility lite.

The offensive part is the intent to roast the chocobo, not the success or not of said attempted roasting. The chocobo's immunity to heat is therefore unimportant.

The rage itself is of a cold, measured type.

Personally, I think it is poor form for a mod to muck with a game partway through, even if he/she realized too late that the game was unbalanced. Once a game has begun there's a certain amount of sanctity that should be preserved for the players to trust the mod is being impartial.

But I also won't argue with a mod while a game is in session, so I'll debate the merit of the choice after.

For now, since nothing is happening, I will say I am comfortable ending the day early if that's still an option.
