Fable: Let's face it, of the active players, Fable is currently a most likely to be lynched based on others reactions. Seems panicked and confused as to why, but other than a lack of delivery on promising chaos and a willingness to go with other plans hasn't given too much up. Currently sitting null here.

Freddeh: the third contender to step into the ring, and interestingly enough one of the few to want to defend Fable. This behavior is odd, but willing to see it play out for now. If he turns up scum down the road, less willing to believe Fable would be a teammate with him.

I'll bite.

wrt to Fable -

1. You're sitting null on Fable despite his reactions at various stages of discussion. Why is that? Did his interactions with me not feel genuine to you to make him out to be town-like? Do you think he's backpedaling with being called out on his behavior? Do you believe him when he says he was just doing everything for the fun of it (essentially saying none of it mattered)? These questions were posed because you don't seem to offer any OC (original content) as opposed to just describing what's occurred wrt to Fable. This ultimately leads to you attributing a null to him so it seems (even though, as far as I can recall, you haven't talked about him enough aside from like that one post where you voted him when you were jumping around, and even that was just a "let's see what happens" vote I believe).

2. You describe Fable as panicked and confused. Why? What has Fable done/said to earn this description from your perspective?

wrt to Fred -

I don't actually have much to ask you about here other than this: How would you view Fred down the road (say going into D2) if Fable is the one that flips scum? This question is asked because as you stated yourself Fable seems likely to be lynched, so I don't see a point in stating that you believe Fable is less likely to be teamed with Fred scum (once Fred is lynched down the line) since this train of thought actively maintains that Fable will be around longer (down the road) than Fred will be.

If that comes off as convoluted, then let me question it from a different angle kinda: Your thought wrt to Fred (and Fable being teamed with him) hinges on Fred coming up as scum later. It also actively maintains that Fable will be around longer than Fred. Since Fable, by your count, seems likely to be lynched, do you think Fred might be teamed with Fable if Fable comes up as scum?

Well I've been looking over everything here in the thread, and these are my thoughts so far. I believe that KoD could be onto something with his Fable and Fred connection, still a little to really be sure. Now onto something fresh, there is Mylen Ploa who claims I am force of nature when I get going, while I thank you for the compliment. I have to say that causes me to want to further investigate where you came to this conclusion. Also when was I a force of nature?

I try to be wary of people that compliment me in case they are trying to pocket me.

That's kinda what I was thinking about KoD. It definitely smells fishy considering this is my second game of mafia.

I'm here, I should have time tonight to discuss. I expect CL is probably back at his house, where he has no internet, hence his silence.

Being D1 you know very well anything goes Fred.

Doesn't mean I have to like it :V

I like Mongoose so far as well, and not just because of the Numbers vote/fos.

A read list is hard to do right now but whatever here goes nothing.

KoD-I'm long past being able to judge KoD objectively so I got nothing here. My guess is bad town because he isn't constantly defending himself like he did last game but he also hasn't come under much fie either so the read could be faulty.

Numbers-I get he told Fred he would lynch him in the sign-up thread but I think he' taking it a bit too far considering it's almost all he talks about. Slight Scum.

Mylen- How crazy is it that the clown is the most rational person here? Town.

Io-I would describe Io as "non-committal" she's been somewhat more active than other people and yet has added less. Slight Scum

Fable-How could anybody pick on this face?

Shock-I dunno at least he's trying I guess. I have gotta a lugh out off his atempts to be chaotic. Null read.

Mongoose-Hasn't been playing long enough for me to get a proper read but has been very vague in what he's posted which is a bad sign. Null for now.

Rubik-The Io is Rag/Niklor or whoever else thing isn't funny anymore so do please start playing for real. Null

Fred-As much as I hate to side against anyone who calls KoD out on his :censored: Fred's defense of me has stuck me as a tad odd. I'm use to Fred being a bit more aggressive than he's been because while he was a SK last game he did say he was trying to play it as town. Fred last game and Fred this game isn't matching up for me. Slight Scum.

Scar-To answer your question from earlier Scar no I'm not you because I'm actually posting. Null

PN-Do try to post more. You said before Mylen's crazy almost matches your own. I'd be eager to see you try and prove it, believe me it's harder to do than it looks. :P Null read

CL-

No - the day did start at 8:00 PM Friday.
I'm actually on vacation, and have been watching from my phone, enjoying that fact that I hadn't booted up my computer since Friday. But, I figured I should throw out a vote log and count and that mod stuff.

Vote Log

Vote Count:
Fred (1) - Numbers
Io (1) - Rubik
Fable (4) - CL, KoD, Io, Mylen
KoD (1) - Fable
Numbers (1) - Goose

With 12 alive, 7 votes are needed to lynch.

The day will end at 8:00 PM on Friday - Approx 3 days, 5 hours from when I started this post.

Vague say you. Mm... Then much the Force, has left to teach you then young Padawan. All will be revealed in good in good time. Attune yourself to the ebb and flow, then you will see instantly all.

That X-Files theme to describe CL gets me every time. Ha ha ha. Incidentally, there's something worth noting about this: You completely blow off addressing CL's vote even though you full-on address mine. (Aimed at Fable)

Also at Fable, wrt to Fred, can you actually differentiate what Fred is doing this game that isn't lining up with Fred last game?

That would be star wars, KoD. Also I could see a little Fox Muelder in CL.

@KoD

Doing my best speak impartially here it's easy for me to ignore CL's vote when he hasn't been posting. Despite me not taking anything that happened this past weekend seriously I've come to realize that while nothing you say makes sense I also can't outright ignore you either as much as I would want to. It's an annoying position to be in.

Fred from the very beginning of touhou seemed pretty good at giving himself going to do. He got involved in the rag cult discussion and then didn't waste anytime getting onto the shockwave wagon. This game he's been much more laid back and hasn't really said anything other then telling you to stop tunneling me which while I appreciate seems like Fred taking the easy way out of discussing the game.

@fable, you might need an unvote. The rules don't specify whether you need to when recasting a vote or not and the default around here is if you don't additional votes won't count. To this end, specification from neo would be nice.

Also it's very unchaotic of you to consider my actions "too far" considering we still have a good amount of deadline left in day 1. +town points

I will say I've had an ulterior (as I do in just about everything I do) motive in maintaining my stance though and that's basically reading responses to my actions. Doing so hasn't given me a reason to change my vote while I have fostered initial feels for a few players that have commented on the issue. And one in particular that avoided it altogether.

*Waves.*

@Fable:

You're not making sense.

CL posted a reason for voting you that I'll include in a spoiler.

CL's Vote

And this is the only response you offer to CL:

Your Response

CL pegged you correctly when he commented on people noticing when someone shirks responsibility onto someone else (like you do with Myl). And all you do is wave off one part of CL's comments by saying you're playing with a idgaf perspective while trying to have fun (which would seem to indicate you don't have fun going into your argument with me which you later say "lol j/k i was totes plain gais.")

Quite simply, you say you can ignore CL because he doesn't post (even though that's not a reason to ignore what someone says); however, you say you can't ignore me since (I assume) I'm posting (even though what I have posted about was based off of CL and extended into more detail on my part through conversation with you which you ultimately backtrack on by saying it was all in jest).

Why not just ignore my posts like you did CL's?

Answer: Because you don't want to get lynched despite the facade you're trying to maintain.

Believe me if more than 3 of us were active I would have a much easier time of ignoring you. Also I don't know if I was hiding me not wanting to get lynched. Of course I don't want to get lynched because I like playing and I think dying sucks. Though if this is the level of activity we can expect for the rest for the game I don't think I would be missing out on a lot.

Also honest question you say you're focusing on me because there's no one else to look at (which really it just feels like I'm being punished for being active) but I have tried to bring attention to Io. Are you just ignoring my concerns about Io or do you just disagree?

1. I never said that to the best of my knowledge.

2. I am looking at others. You just dislike having my attention as much as you do. Course what you think "looking at others" is supposed to mean is beyond me. Perhaps, in your mind, it means getting on the cases of other people for being possible scum. Maybe it means something else. Quite frankly, I'll refer you to my empty care cup on the matter.

But Fable, I thought this was all a game for you. A distraction to keep you entertained. Why oh why would you ever feel like you're being punished (unless you were lying when you were dismissing your arguments with me)?

I'm sorry, but are you asserting I have to look at the same people you look at? Now THAT is cute.

Quote:

Mostly I'm just ignoring your concerns since you seem to be trying to drive attention anywhere else.

Because it's oh so much easier to ignore someone when others are talking, am I right?

You're showing how much you care by making statements like this.
