If you look at this from the perspective of someone who knows that he's town and knows that the next 3 team propositions will almost certainly lose him the game if passed, taking a chance on a team that had an above 0% chance of winning makes plenty of sense. I wouldn't be surprised if scum failed this mission to try to frame at least one of us so that they could regain control of the team propositions from the only player who is almost certainly town (Mown).

I don't know about "plenty safe". Nobody on the actual team voiced dissent, and anyone not on it should obviously be against. I was the only participant to turn it down, and I'm the one that made it.

In the scenario where that team has no scum: Tevish, Zing, and SE all made it clear that they'd be rejecting the team. That means Neo would theoretically only need one more rejection, which could easily come from you, me, or Rag. From there he could easily close out the game by setting his scum-mates up for an easy case. It's a gambit, sure, but it would have the potential to pay off bigtime

In the scenario where there is 1-2 scum in the team Mown proposed: Neo approves the mission hoping that his scummate(s) will approve of the mission, but not enough of them commit to it, unwilling to risk saying they want to reject a mission and then approving of it in case the mission fails.

yeah I'm not sure how to handle that. the default rules are set up under the assumption that people are paying attention and present but if they're actually just not here... that makes things complicated. I have a PM from them as of monday and their most recent post was tuesday so let's hope that they just went away for a couple days. I'll probably extend the next voting round until I hear at least something from them though, and if that doesn't happen in a reasonable time frame I'll look for a replacement.
